Let’s not pretend that Sylvanas had no strats in Darkshore that helped control the area. She had the idea to outflank them from behind by finding a passage through Felwood, she got the soldiers together to go swim and take the boat crews by surprise which stopped the ranged assault of the shore, she did her best to chase Malf off after he collapsed an inn on Saurfang.
