Which goblin is richer?
I know Gazlowe isn’t a Trade Prince, but for all the work he’s done for the Horde, I’d expect he’s pretty wealthy.
And I assume Garrosh and Sylvanas threw money at Gallywix, but all his shady dealings I’d assume he never keeps his assets in the bank.

While Gallywix is the richer of the two, Gazlowe is more well liked.

I believe Gallywix is stated to be the richest goblin in the world. Granted, he was the one who said this, but given the number of goblins he “allowed” on his ship, we can assume that each one of them was forced to liquidate their life savings and give them to him. So after swindling out manifold goblins who were ALSO doing rather well for themselves (the player especially, who was a real competitor to Gallywix before Kajaro’s eruption), it seems like a safe assumption that Gallywix is the wealthiest goblin on Azeroth, possibly the wealthiest person in a material sense.

I could actually believe the two are neck-and-neck as both have their strengths and weaknesses. Gazlowe is generally more capable and sensible, but also has a conscience and is willing to spread his money around to those he thinks have earned it. Gallywix is more ruthless and cutthroat in his practices but is short-sighted and direly lacking self-awareness.
Ultimately I’d bet Gallywix is coming out ahead, but at the same time may be setting himself up for a fall.
Gallywix, probably. Maybe.
Remember Gazlowe shells out for things like safety equipment, hazard pay and those most anti capitalist of things..paid overtime and a living wage.
Those things are costs that add up pretty fast. Of course, not having to start from scratch every time one of your factories burns down with all of your workers inside probably helps even things out a little bit.
Then there’s always the fact, if given a choice, who do you think people will actually work for? The guy with a reputation for taking care of his workers or the guy who has a reputation for…“taking care” of his workers when they start saying scary things like “union” and “means of production.”

Yeah, I mean the only thing is Gazlowe has to deal with union negotiations and paying for health insurance. So maybe short term he’s making less, but long term those goblins would probably do anything he asks…for a small fee.
Gallywix is wealthier, I’m pretty sure. He’s the leader of Bilgewater Cartel and a legit Trade Prince. Gazlowe is not the leader of Steamwheedle.
As to who is better to work for? I’m always rather wary of trying to pit one capitalist against another when it comes to “which is better”. Both Gallywix and Gazlowe are capitalist goblins, afterall.
Cooperating with unions isn’t something management does out of the goodness of its heart. Unions exist to begin with because of management’s history of exploiting labor. Similarly, there’s such a thing as crappy hazard pay and company insurance policies. Their mere existence isn’t a good thing in and of itself- especially considered insurance only works when employees collectively pay more into it than they collectively take out of in terms of expenses.
And while Gallywix seems to have prevented a union from forming within the Bilgewater Cartel, he does fear litigation from his employees, as is suggested in his War Campaign quest where you’re sent to rescue Bilgewater employees.
Big meh on either from me. But it’s a fantasy game, so I’m going to assume Gazlowe would do whatever’s more heroic.

This… is actually a really good question. We need a blue to give us an answer!
I dunno
Magni is literally worth his weight in diamonds.

It’s an easy one, Gallywix. Greedy turd cuts corners and hoards whatever he can get away with and some things that he can’t.

The royal treasury of Atal’dazar is colossal, and their places of worship are literally covered with gold.
Talanji controls this, so she is possibly richer than Gallywix (provided the many-chinned creature didn’t start vacuuming the money out of the Zandalari vaults like a 90s cartoon villain stealing Scrooge McDuck’s money).

Maybe before I pummeled the crap out of her hoard for some boots, yeah. You raise a good point tho.
Gazlowe has a 49.7% non-distributable share of all my goblins’ hearts.
Gallywix has seven fraudulent life insurance policies with my characters named as sole beneficiaries.
Not sure who’s richer. Unless Gallywix meets an “unfortunate” “accident,” in which my goblins are undeniably richer.
I just get the sense that Gallywix is bad at keeping track of his finances.
I think that much is pretty much a given, since the Gallywix vs Gelbin essentially came down to Gelbin being smarter and more innovative and Gallywix just throwing money at the problem.
Business is more of Gallywix’s area though. He never was much of an engineer, he was a street wise thug that was able to out wit and out business his opponents.
