Be me. Level 12 undead rouge. Gets stuck on a building turning in quests. Hearth still has 13 minutes on the cooldown. Let me use the character unstuck service, it says it will teleport me to the nearest safe location. I logout and come back to my character INSIDE WAILING CAVERNS. Nothing feels safer than being surrounded by level 20 elite mobs that one shot me. 10/10 would unstuck again.
You have to page it correctly. This format you’re going for has its own… rules.
but the ‘unstuck’ puts you in nearest gy as crow flies, I believe. problem is some dungeons physically exist in places that don’t make geographic sense. such as above the skybox or below ground.
I only did one ghetto-hearth and it was in deadmines. it correctly took me to Stormwind inn.
Next time ask for a lock to summon you. Or have friends go to a dungeon stone and summon you from that.

Makes me wonder how much spaghetti they left in or how the world was actually constructed. I once DC’d in deadmines and ended up at what I later learned was the AV portal in hillsbrad. This was way back in 2005 or something and I had no idea where I was, but a skull mountain lion came to greet me when i poked my nose outside the cave.
