It looks like some PvP hotfixes are rolling in tomorrow during the server resets.

• Hunter
  • (With realm restarts) Aimed Shot no longer deals 10% increased damage in PvP situations.
  • (With realm restarts) Double Tap’s extra Aimed Shot deals 50% reduced damage in PvP situations.
• Paladin
  • (With realm restarts) Ringing Clarity (Kyrian) can now trigger up to 2 multi-casts in PvP situations (was 3).
  • (With realm restarts) Judgment (Kyrian) cast from Divine Toll deals 75% increased damage in PvP situations (was 100%).
  • (With realm restarts) Final Reckoning increases the damage of Holy Power abilities by 30% in PvP situations (was 50%).
• Rogue
  • (With realm restarts) Reverberation’s (Kyrian) increase to Echoing Reprimand (Kyrian) damage has been reduced by 30% when engaged in combat with enemy players.

I don’t disagree that protection paladins will probably be hit… but is this what keeps people up at night? tanks that are good at their job?

Funny part I do more damage on my BDK also than half the people I group with in dungeon pugs. Don’t worry all the bad dps that got carried by borrowed power will soon come for the other tanks after.

The most ridiculous part is how rogues were mostly left untouched. they are easily the worst culprit right now in terms of over tuning

As a sub main since Legion I agree. I hate seeing everyone running around as sub these days because its OP. I remember being made fun of when Sub was given it’s “own” type of spec with NIghtblade and Shadowstrike and it was amazing, very rogue like but the damage with meh. Now it’s FOTM and too many scrubs are playing the spec. Go back to being a pirate you plebs lololol

I’ve been sin since Pandaland or something and I’ve had to play sub for the past two weeks to do more damage than healers in dungeons.

I always hated Combat.

They already nerfed prot paly so I’ll say there’s no way they keep MM the way it is before ranked becomes a big thing this week. MM and rogues will get nerfs hopefully tomorrow at reset but most likely Blizzard will give them a full week of being broken in PvP to get some data from the raid to adjust them accordingly to hopefully not screw the mythic raiders playing those classes.

Okay. Then what happens when buffing the 30 specs below the top 5 results in a new handful of outliers? Just keep buffing incessantly until we sneeze on the content and it falls over?

No.

You nerf upper end outliers and buff lower end outliers.

We are very strong, but i wonder where we’d sit in a 5+m fight. Right now a lot of people only see what we do in that 1m fight with army and since our mastery is buffing minions now it makes that 1m burst window insane

while your correct none of that changes the fact the spec is over tuned in almost all areas. I also don’t know what prior expansions have to do with the current class designs, I was a BDK main since Cata until SL…

But man my lock needs a PvP buff. Along with Venthyr.

It’s not even joke or meme anymore. For us, it’s a disappointment and inevitability.
