Id rather play Shadowlands for the next 192 years than do that dungeon ever again.
Fun is one thing, making something hard just for the sake of complexity is not fun.

Which part are you having trouble with?
You’re going into dungeons where nobody knows what to do
Relax. Mess up. Because this is the rare time where you can get away with being stupid before the risk of trolling responses.
Lmao I had three people quit today. In under 180 seconds.
I was laughing so hard.
That dungeon is so easy.
Target Ritualist
Go to ship pick the center adds.
Target ritualis in left.
Take mount go to ship kill add - stop howl
Plant bomb.
Take mount to second ship and repeat.
Come to dealbreaker. So your dance - take mount when she casts black stuff.
She does it at 50 and 0 %
Now -
You need to kill the 3 rares that are bolstering the boss.
1 - take the church add you can tank him inside
2- take the second lieutenant right in front of the church.
You can now kill the boss.
Go to ship - tank spider
Moce left or right
Plant bombs in the boss.
When he flies away follow him but MAKE SURE TO EAT THE YELLOW BALLS.
Pretty easy once he lands. He is dead.
I managed to die twice in it as a follower dungeon.
First time some mechanic one-shot me but I honestly have no idea what it was and whatever it was I guess I never got hit by it again. Second time was because I didn’t know which direction to fly when told to leave the ship and hit an invisible insta-death wall while getting my bearings.
I also got hit by a lot of mechanics that I repeatedly failed to do properly, but fortunately did almost no damage. Maybe it will be different the next time I run it (if there is a next time), but at no point in that first run did I have a warm and fuzzy feeling that I knew what was going on.
I had fun laughing in that dungeon (follower), I didnt read the text at the top of the screen and the NPC voice over just repeated the same line over a 100 times. I started to wonder, if I could let them just steal the ship or would the NPC just repeat that line until the end of time.
It’s far and away my favorite dungeon of the upcoming season.
City of Threads needs completely revamped though. It’s so bad.
I never considered doing it with followers first, i might do that.
Yea I guess im being too hard on myself as a healer, I couldn’t even find where people were going. I had to be pinged there and it was kinda embarassing.
Thanks for the info and the tips guys, im gonna go in today with a fresh mind.
THIS IS SO EASY!!!
Lists sixteen steps that have to be followed.
BUT ITS EASY YO
Did that not help ?
Sorry
Seems easy enough. Thanks Luuba, I haven’t done that one yet!
I have trouble with the fact that it’s completely horrible.
It’s helpful, it’s very helpful. Sorry, I just found it funny, as most people see “easy” as being limited to 1-2-3 types of things.
This dungeon just takes a bit of experience, I’ve done it twice now, and I only died once the second time. Something about that flight with the yellow orbs that I didn’t do correctly, and something gibbed me in the sky.
I’m loving all the dungeons so far.
Dungeons have gone off the rails since BfA.
There’s a lot of mechanics with no clear telegraphs that also don’t create any “monkey see, monkey do” learning situations. So the only reasonable way to play the game is on Icy Veins or WoWHead guides.
This is why for every new dungeon I’m doing follower mode so I can mess it up without anyone seeing. It took me a while to figure out dawnbreaker and I’m still confused on the boss with the shadow bubble tbh.
There is rebuff which appears. Just follow the spider. Don’t use speed boost war all the ball and the rebuff should not appear.
You will see a buff which stack for 25 seconds.
I would rather all dungeons be dawnbreaker than shadow lands redux
I ran that dungeon a lot in Beta so maybe that’s why I like it. It just takes time to get the layout but you also need some basic skill in Sky Riding.
They’ve gone the IMAX route with dungeons.
They can’t just do dungeons anymore. It has to be some kind of transparent amusement park ride with its predictable jolts and stops.
Has not improved the experience in my opinion. It just makes it bad and also cheesy. I prefer the mechanics to be on bosses/mobs and not on the environment. I am here to fight the mobs. Not to fight your poorly implemented speed bumps and road hazards.
WoW is really starting to feel like the arcade rocking horse to the equestrian world of MMOs. Insert coin. Feel a reasonable facsimile of the experience you are actually after.
