I was recently rewatching Justify’s Triple Crown Win and that got me thinking. A WoW Triple Crown could consist of a Race to World’s First Kill, A Blizzcon AWC Title win, and a MDI Title win. There are some players like Trill and Gingi that have 2 pieces of this crown, but yet one still alludes them in their own respect. Who, if any, will become the first Triple Crown WoW player? Interested to hear what the community has to say and if anyone has thought about such a prestigious feat.
It will be me, obviously.
Probably Naowh if he played pvp, but they don’t really cross over.
Some dude that only people who watch streams knows or cares about.
Trill.
It’s a pretty short list of viable players.
You basically gotta ask “is it more likely that Trill wins MDI or Gingi wins the AWC?”
I don’t think it would be that hard. Just pick an awesome pvper and get them to do pve. I honestly think that any great pvper will be great at M+. And I think anyone who learns from mistakes (great pvpers do this) and has boat loads of time can be great at raiding. Just make three characters, one meta in each form of content.
You’d think, but most good pvpers I’ve seen are wired differently and can’t make the transition to pve. They are two completely different skillsets and some habits are very difficult to break. For example, melee DPS being completely incapable of sitting still even when a mechanic demands they don’t move.
Though to be fair it’s certainly easier to get into pve from pvp than the other way around.
Read my mind.
The issue is, at just the basic intro-argument level, AWC and MDI simply take time and dedication.
RWF not only takes all of that, but also takes a borderline account-ban level of money laundering.
It’s why it’s hard to even care about RWF when the challenge isn’t the raid itself, but spending 200+ million gold on CARRIES. I mean… that’s not interesting to me.
