What I mean by this is now that Sargeras is locked up, demon kind are in a chaotic, leaderless state.
In the show Supernatural for example, once lucifer was locked away, a character named Crowley stepped up and used cunning, rather than raw power (which he lacked) to take over hell and become King There.
Now in terms of Demon Kind in the WoW universe, who do you think are the most likely candidates of the demons who are still alive to step up and try to take over? Could they succeed? None have the raw power of Sargeras, so it will likely take some cunning to take over.

No he didnāt he was given the title and power by a knight of hell in return for just leaving him alone, thatās how crowley became king of hell. As for the demons once they die the return to the twisting nether as sarg is locked away nobody has the power to bring them back out of it in mass
Sounds cunning. Annoying some one into giving you what you want. Which is what I said.
Sargeras will get under Iliidans skin and he will give it a shot.
No. The Legion will split up into countless warlords all carving out their own little empires and spending too much time infighting for any one demon to rise to leadership.
At least, until Sargeras inevitably breaks free.

He didnāt though he came to give him a gift to say congrats you are king and the knight went nah I donāt want the job you have it. Dude have you actually watched it or just ran threw the cliff notes
What about all the scheming later on when other demons tried to overthrow him, meh, idk its been a while since Iāve seen the season where Crowley actually takes over, what was it, like late season 6, season 7?
I like the show, but Iām not to the point where I know every episode from every season ever. Yes Iām a casual trying to make an example.
We donāt really know enough about the Twisting Nether to really make the call. Someone might have taken over the Burning Legion, possibly a dreadlord, but the Burning Legion is pretty much the Scarlet Crusade of demons, they donāt represent the Netherās true intentions.
Sargeras isnāt from the Nether, he was a corrupted Titan, a being of arcane. Heās like a void state Naaru. There are probably powerful demons that could kill him, but they canāt be bothered and allow him to do his thing, using demons for his own crusade.
This really. People I think tend to forget that demons are chaotic by nature, they would stab themselves in the back if they could

Jaraxxus, MalāGanis, and several other big name demons who may have regenerated off-screen are still well-alive and kicking, so any one of them could feasibly take over
Iād imagine it has to basically be a mob war in the Twisting Nether, with Eredar, Dreadlords and Pitfiends running factions and trying to consolidate as much power as possible.
I think thatās fertile ground for some questlines. The savier amongst the Demon Lords might try to enlist the aid of Azerothās adventurers. Azeroth was always Sargerasās goal but say Magtheridon might legitimately not care about it and would be willing to reward someone handsomely if they trashed MalāGanisās forces and terf.
I feel like if itās ever addressed itāll just be Sargeras breaking free and resuming control. Or they just go āSurprise! Mythic phase was actually canon!ā and have Archimonde take the helm. Whichever requires the least amount of effort.
The Burning Legion is weird. Itās made up of creatures of ādisorderā brought together under a being of āorderā. If all of the cosmic forces have some sort of pantheon I canāt imagine the pantheon of disorder is too pleased with the Burning Legion.
You assume there is a Pantheon in Disorder? There may be some demons that are just so absurdly powerful that they by their nature do bring some natural control to the chaos, but wouldnāt the idea of a designated āPantheonā bring Order to Disorder by its very nature?

I imagine a pantheon of disorder would be like crabs in a bucket.
I imagine itās more of a simple means of classifying them. If they do a āpantheon of the nether,ā it will probably borrow a lot from the Diablo series, with Prime evils, some ruling, other plotting against, a constant struggle for who is the ruler and civil war.

Iām sure there are several remaining Eredar commanders.
Archimonde and KilāJaeden were the big two because, along with Velen, they were the leaders of the Draenei before joining the Legion.
None of the other Eredar are on the same tier as them, including Jaraxxus.
