I’ll always remember mine as being a Night Elf Druid, and I geared her horribly… I ended up rerolling her (This was end of Classic) as soon as Burning Crusade came out into a Draenei hunter who I took all the way to 70!
Sadly, they’ve been deleted for a long time now, I switched off that server and became Horde as a Blood Elf Priest X’)
Got to 60 with my mage, started PvPing. Got wrecked by Windfury, rage-rerolled to shaman, fell in love with the class. Went paladin in TBC and some of Wrath, but pretty much stayed shaman until the end of MoP.
All my vanilla characters still exist.
I’m going priest in Classic because it’s the only healer I haven’t mained yet. Plus I’ve always been kinda jealous of Benediction/Anathema.
I started wow the week it launched in Europe. I started playing with bunch of IRL friends, we were all in the same internet cafe. Initially I started on alliance side, NE rogue (I always wanted horde, but my friends, bunch of pu**ies, all wanted fairy tale alliance) They kept rerolling on different servers (bs reasons) until I got fed up of switching and rolled an UD Rogue on Laughing Skull EU. Played him the entire vanilla (all the way through wotlk), loads of wpvp, exalted av,ab. Did loads of pve also (all the way to 1st boss in naxx, never killed C`thun tho). I will definitely re-roll as an UD rogue again, looking forward to farm barman shanker lol , to have some fun in IF, and the whole class altogether. And if everything goes right I will finaly do what I didn’t in vanilla, make a PVP video :)) I felt in love with the rogue then, and only mained a rogue since then. I still have him, and 2 of my alts from vanilla (none max lvl)

Got them to level 13 in the Stress Test, my dad paid $8 on FilePlanet to get in. Recreated them and only ever made it to level 35. My dad went back to EverQuest and I lost access to the account. Since I was 12 during Vanilla, I never made my own account until Cataclysm.

No, I leveled a shaman and played him for the first 6-8 months of vanilla.
I switched mains because our guild had no dedicated warrior tanks. So I decided to level a prot warrior.
Yes, he still exists. I just leveled him to 120, before quickly growing bored with BFA within a few weeks, as I have done with every xpac since my guild disbanded in Cata. (I’m getting everyone back together for Classic! We’re all excited. It’s going to be a great reunion.)
I will recreate him in Classic. I thought about choosing a new name, but decided to just go with the same name. It’s what everyone will call me anyway. RP-wise, I’ll think of it as a slightly different alternate WoW universe.
My first character was a human warrior till around 20. Warriors looked cool and tough and Aragorn and all that. I was terrible and died endlessly. Paladins looked the same but could heal themselves so I rerolled.
I thought I was quitting wow permanently about mid way through BC so I gave my account to my little brother and he mains that paladin to this day.
And no I won’t be a paladin this time around because Ill be rolling horde.
This character, it has been my main forever. I have three Tauren Warriors, and one Tauren Druid.
I think what really cemented this dude as my main is that I loved tanking and I loved the school of hard knocks. Sunken Temple (original) is an evil vile place but I look on it fondly as that place where I got it, and became a good tank sought by many.
This is the character that got really close to a server first for Nightbane. I think we missed it by less than a day.
One of the reasons I am leaning Alliance this time, is that I don’t think I can play Horde without recreating this badass tanking and PVP killing machine. Kolben will live on forever as the character that did all that stuff first, I’m not looking to make a better version of him. So it has to be a new race and possibly a new faction…
2: No it was my second the first one was a Tauren Warrior.
3: Story was that the guild I was needed healers more than it needed tanks so I rerolled into one then subsequently I became the Druid class officer and the healing coordinator in the raids. I raided up to twin emperors in AQ40 before taking a break until TBC. Yes the character still exists and is currently lvl 110 and also my highest lvl character.
4: Yes I will be recreating it in Classic even though I will be playing with somewhat different talent tree than I was back then.
This was the very first character I ever made in Vanilla and was my main for quite some time. I was around level 58 on her when I joined a raiding guild on an alt and they convinced me to bring this character into the guild to raid with them. I didn’t regret it because I had a blast.
Sadly this account got hacked while I was unsubbed from mid-BC to the end of Wrath and I recently just got it back in 2016 after really missing my old account. A lot of my items were gone when I got my account back, but thankfully some was still there.
I have started to level this character a number of times the last couple years because it was my first main and really loved this character, but I kind of like her staying in time as she is.
This is Nuadelara from above. After playing my druid as my main for some time, while I loved being a healer, I was a bit of an altaholic and started making other classes to try out. The very last class I tried was a warlock because I didn’t think I would like the class at all. By level 18 I was in love with this character and she became my main.
I asked my guild if it was ok if I switched mains from my druid to this warlock and they were really great about it. I continued to raid on my druid to help heal until they found a replacement and decided to pass on any healer gear since I didn’t think it was fair since I was only playing my druid to help out and felt those who were raiding on their mains deserved the gear.
I raided on this warlock until midway through BC before quitting. I loved the warlock for raiding and had a blast in pvp. I plan on remaking both a druid and warlock for Classic. Can’t wait.
Kami here was my 3rd character. The first was a Druid but I lasted a total of 6 levels before I hated her. Rolled a warlock. Lasted…20ish levels? Was not digging it.
Rolled the most amazing Orc Hunter ever. Kami was my main up until Wrath.
Once I faction change her back to her glorious Orc self, she will be again.
EDIT- Well, she’ll be my retail main. But she’s going to be “reborn” on Classic.

Pally still exists. Same name same realm I always cap him in every expansion even if I don’t play him at all after that. Still has more /played than any of my other toons.
I’m going a new route this time around. Especially because I know how ret pallies are in classic now hahaha. Think I am going to go warlock this time.
I figured I’d post on my old vanilla character even though I don’t play him any more. It was my main during Vanilla but I quit it during TBC to play a Priest. It was a Tauren shaman until I switched over to Alliance during Cataclysm. I won’t be recreating it because I am rolling Alliance.
