As the title suggest, i am torn on 2 classes to level for wrath classic. I love the look and feel of raw burst of enhance but for tanks and i know bear isnt the strongest for tanking but bear feels like a great tank to me. Just wanting to hear suggestions between the 2. Im not trying to be top in dps meters or best tank
The world can always use more tanks.
Are bears decent or viable tanks at least?
Yep, they’re viable. You’ll hear the complaints about threat and all that, but a competent Feral tank is solid nonetheless. As far as the future, i played wotlk pservers for some time on the ICC phase and I saw many successful Bear tanks. Is it the #1 tank in the game, no. But it’s viable.
As a bonus, feral cat is super fun and effective dps.

Personally, I’m having an awful time. But I hate Feral. I wanted to play Resto but no one else is leveling to run dungeons with, and solo questing as a healer is only slightly more enjoyable than slamming all of my fingers in a doorway
You’re level 30? It definitely gets a lot better in the later levels.
Well, 40 now. But this isn’t my first Druid, I’ve never enjoyed Feral
Only reason I ended up picking it is because I hate Balance even more lol
Just try both honestly, both are very dynamic, enchance shaman is so much fun like playing a slot machine with the RNG damage LOL
I can relate, as that is how i personally feel about Shamans. I love Resto Sham but i despise playing Ele or Enhance.
Save yourself time and heartbreak-roll a Shaman.
No matter how viable the forums will say a Bear is, unless you have a guild actively looking for a Bear for whatever reason, the chances of you being accepted into group content is low. If you’re not into group content, go for it.
It’s not that they are bad, just they are undesireable when other classes exist that have more personal value. You’ll be a cat for 99% of your existence, or use your off spec-it’s just the reality of the situation.
