Because I’m playing through the start of Dragonflight again on an alt, and it sure kinda seems like it was Wrathion, especially because Raszageth just let him live, and then later let him live again.
Hot conspiracy theory: but it sure seems like Wrathion released Raszageth as a ploy to get the other Aspects to work towards regaining their Aspect power so he could become more powerful. Why? Who knows. But it’s not the first time he’s done this.
Yes, the Primalist leader Kurogg Grimtotem freed Raszageth from her prison on the Forbidden Reach during the Dracthyr Evoker starting zone. The reason Wrathion is seen there is because he, Ebyssian, and Nozdormu went to the Reach to discover what caused a disturbance there (it was the Dracthyr waking up and the blue dragonflight trying to keep them imprisoned). Wrathion tried to stop Grimtotem but was too late. She let him live to deliver a message to Alexstrasza that the age of the Titans is over.
It was all Kurog Grimtotem. He actually doesn’t like the aspects, So him working with Wraithion is really unlikely. It was foreshadowed he was in direct connection with primalist in a short story.
I’m more curious how anyone knew to even free ol’ razzy and co
they were imprisoned long before most of the mortal races even existed, how did anyone even know about them?
it also looked like deathwing- er neltharion sucked her into a void portal or something, so not sure how shaman managed to free her from that… people keep getting annoyed when I compare the primalists to the twilight hammer, but there’s some void shenanigans going on here, I can smell it.
