Thaddius the Flesh Titan is a boss found in Naxx. Said to be made from the flesh of women and children. The name was inspired by Thaddeus, a Greek translation for “Jude” or “Juddas”, the guy who betrays Christ, only for hang himself after returning the bribe money. In some other language, Thaddeus means “heart” or “breast”. So Thaddius was a creature made from “wholesome” sacrifices of purehearted children and THICC women? Having self awareness and wishing to be put out of his or her misery… Since Thaddius cannot “betray the Scourge”?

The Scourge was indiscriminate in its use of corpses for abominations.
Something that people don’t put together often is that flesh works exist in the Scourge war machine because, while Undeath produces bodies that do not need food or rest, they do still take damage and cannot recover from it on their own.
If an Abomination was damaged, they would just use a fresher corpse to repair it.
But you more or less answer your own question. The Humans of Lordaeron were put to the sword by the greatest horror the Burning Legion ever conceived (which they learned from the Shadowlands, and Maldraxxus, I guess) and most of the men were raised as rambling Scourge soldiers while women and children would be captured and then subsequently slaughtered as needed to create and repair Abominations

If you break down the word into its 2 syllables you get Thad- and -Deus. It’s a mystery for the ages though.

Thaddius is why the scourge is much better then the mawsworn. You see real normal people and see them twisted into this monster. Meanwhile mawsworn do none of this on a regular basis.

I’ve seen similar instructive publications before. They serve to make the author feel estimable, and do sometimes start interesting conversations.
The scourge is also scary because the scourge members retain some of their humanity but they can’t resist the call of the lich king. By extension they were all slaves to the lich king while lich king was a slave to himself.
