Who leaves groups the most?

I’ve played all roles and from my experience tanks leave the most in groups. Dps is second and I’ve never seen a healer leave a group unless it’s absolute chaos.

Mages and Spriests. They are just too intelligent for everyone

Tanks are front and center so some of their mistakes are the most obvious. They are the primary causes for most chaos in M+ and are also the ones most likely to bail after embarrassing themselves. Fragile.

Ragers/trolls who prefer to punish key holders and teamates, rather than “risking” to fail the key.

That’s funny. I definitely have had more tanks than any that would leave and for some reason half the time when it’s a dps it’s an arcane.

But now that you say it i have never had a healer leave. :joy:

They must all be so patient

Tanks

After that it’s probably healers and then DPS, but I don’t think either of them have ever iniated a leave for my groups.

I’ve certainly had healers leave groups, but yes Tanks leave groups waaaay more.
Why would they stay? They get into groups instantly and they have huge egos.

I’ve personally seen dps leave more than tanks but most people saying tanks doesn’t surprise me, they have the fastest turnaround to get into a different group.

Most likely, Tanks since they can just find another group instantly.

A tank is the natural leader of the group, so if they die, it’s probably an omen for the rest of the run lol.

DPS, it’s way more of an investment since they have to wait much longer between groups.

Also, there’s 3 DPS per group- they are inherently more expendable.

Healers are likely the ones that try to salvage what they can.

I’d say tanks as they’ll have a new group in a heartbeat. At the same time they can also carry a group far more than any other role, so a good tank will leave less.

As for myself I leave most groups when I’m a healer. Queues are fast enough to not want to subject myself to more misery than I must, and you can’t really carry to the same extent as a healer.

Tanks definitely

Probably whatever DPS is meta

I don’t think it depends as much on the class as it does on the ego. People who are very competitive tend not to stick around if the group is not doing very well or if it looks like the key is not going to be timed.

Usually it seems like tanks leave the most, followed by healers and then DPS.

Plenty of tanks with big egos having it their way or the highway, god forbid they want to do a tight skip and someone moves a hair too close and pulls.

Healers seem to leave mainly from stress, if every pull is going wrong constantly they will not hesitate, though generally healers seem to stick it out better.

Oddly enough DPS leave the least for me, granted I also think DPS talk the most and incite more problems more so than any role.

In theory tanks healers, but I’ve seen dps just straight up disappear as soon as something goes wrong.

I also think it depends on the person behind the character - some people have 0 patience to deal with issues and are more than willing to leave knowing they probably won’t be punished.

In my experience it goes DPS → Tanks → Healers from most likely to leave to least, but it shouldn’t be surprising that DPS are more likely to leave since there are 3 of them versus only 1 healer and tank. However, I wouldn’t say the difference is big. If we are adjusting for number of players in the role then I would say tanks are most likely to leave by quite a lot.

Tanks are the biggest divas so it makes sense

I tank on occasion and while I would never leave if a pull or two doesn’t go well, it is tempting to sometimes; I learned something from my failure (or others) and I can just redo it with another group. I don’t, but I can see why they do. I learned this from tanks in my groups when I heal or dps

The tank alt is always more fun to play with than the tank main in my experience. Takes a certain personality (disorder) to really get in that tank main mentality.

As-is tradition, lol.

Whenever I saw a tank or healer leave, it’s because of a DPS yelling at them for some reason or another.
