Commander Kor from the original Star Trek series (and Deep Space 9, although he’s almost a completely different character there). I’m a sucker for theatrical actors who play sympathetic villains, and John Colicos was one of the threatricalest.
If you can stand to watch 1960s television with its obsession with primary colors and casually cringey nonsense, I strongly recommend watching “Errand of Mercy.”

I can’t really think of an individual series/movie villain that’s my favorite. I love James Bond movies so Bond villains have always been fun. Especially since it’s become such a trope as they are always so over the top. lol
Recently watched Labyrinth again and thought David Bowie’s Jareth was great.

King Ghidorah is one of my favorite movie villain. He had many titles, King of Terror, The Dragon King, Monster Zero, Golden Demise and The One Who is Many. This space dragon is capable of destroying a planet due his destruction power. Its rather difficult for Godzilla to take on him one on one, only time he was able to do that when he was weaken from mind control (Sadly that was most of Ghidorah’s career is being mind control by some aliens)
None of less, He still one most of popular kajiu in Godzilla franchise next to Mechagodzilla.

D23 just happened over the weekend and there’s been a lot of talk about the upcoming Disney live action/CGI movies coming out and a light bulb went off. Disney has helped create some pretty good villains over the years. Scar (Lion King), Hades (Hercules), Ursula (Little Mermaid), Cruella de Vil (101 Dalmations, animated and live), Yzma (Emperor’s New Groove)…

Amarone in the book, but Hollywood decided that Americans wouldn’t know any Italian wine other than Chianti, so it was changed for the movie.

David Xanatos from the Gargoyles TV cartoon series. Like 10 or 20 yeas ago. You can buy them all now on Blu Ray. See how he is kind of bad but also kind of good. Super complex writing.
