Really, who is it? Every universe of fantasy has that one character in it that is a god which always holds back. In the WoW verse i figured it was Tirion until his pitiful death… Dude held the weapon of weapons and died to a simple demon.
He has convinced me that Thrall is the Wowverse superman [Kingdome come story superman]
Still looking for the wonderwoman clone, Main verse supes, Batman [haha…]
Close. He was the son of Medihv and Garona (which made him half-human, quarter draenei and quarter orc), but he became the guardian after and if you could think of it, he could probably do it. He was featured the comics, but was rendered non-canon, and probably for the best.
Me’dan has thankfully been retconned out of existence.
I think Malfurion might be it. He’s pretty crazy strong, practically a demi-god by mortal levels. Easily the most powerful of the faction leaders. He held back the entire Horde army basically by himself for awhile. They never really let him loose and go at full power very much.
Hmm thats true. He is stupidly powerful, I remember back when he was missing because he was fighting old gods and everything by himself in the Emerald Dream [Before it got changed to not be doing that]
Trust me, Blizzard probably is happier with you not knowing about Med’an. He did make it into Warcraft Chronicles Volume 3, mentioned on page 404 in the indices. Cheeky little joke if you ask me.
Tirion and the Argent Crusade were the first to respond and took the fight to the demons. The battle was a disaster, with armies of demons pouring from the tomb. The Argent Crusade was annihilated and many prisoners were taken, including Tirion. After the Horde and Alliance fleets arrived and pushed toward the tomb, Gul’dan held Tirion above a pool of lava as a trap to lure in Varian Wrynn and Vol’jin’s forces. As Tirion prays for the Light’s protection, Gul’dan scoffs and claims that his light is no match for the power of a real god. The warlock then summons the giant Krosus, who spews a storm of fel at Tirion, destroying his Divine Shield and gravely wounding him. Gul’dan then apparently drops him into the lava as a final way to erode the Alliance and Horde’s morale, though he apparently had more plans to torture the paladin afterward. Tirion was held captive by Jailer Zerus. Tirion was freed, but the torture he received was too much for him.
Still pitiful to me. The ashbringer was suppose to be some sorta superweapon. Able to defeat armies of undead/demons anything not considered good with ease.
