Whenever someone asks to have a game regress back to what it once was, it’s really just the rose-colored nostalgic glasses warping their perception.
OP, I’m willing to bet in the early expansions, you had some positive experiences where you met friends, or you were complimented on your gameplay or gear progression. And in your mind, changing retail WoW back to what it once was will bring that all back for you?
