I have not gotten into this name reserving hype. Why would I waste two weeks of a sub just to get a name reserved. That is my line of thinking, I don’t play retail anymore at all.
I feel Blizzard is basing their numbers off of pre registration and stress tests. I was in the beta, I never did a stress test. I feel there are a ton of people like me who don’t want to waste half a month of the sub for name reservations.
If you are like minded. Reply with “Me” and heart this post. We need blizz to see that they are completely under estimating their lunch numbers. Launching with only 12 servers is in fact suicide because ALL SERVERS will have insane queue times. There will be a lot of I told you so’s and references to a Blizzcon (2017 or 2018, I don’t remember) where they said they would NOT botch this up.

I was in the same boat but decided to use a token to reopen my sub when the last stress test was out to see if I was going to enjoy classic as much as I thought I would. Don’t regret it at all. I will be a long time sub if this server stays as classic.
I am done with retail, too streamlined and the lvl of zones match your level is what did it for me.

Poors, that’s who’s waiting.
I think people are underestimating Blizzard, and there ability to get a feel for it. They have access to more statistics than we will ever dream of. They have servers ready to bring online as well. You best believe they wouldn’t have spent millions of dollars if they didn’t have some idea of what they’d get in return.
Not really a money issue my dude. Why waste half a month if a scrip if you’ve got zero intrest in playing retail. IMMA PAY FIFTEEN MONEIES TO SIT AND WAIT!! No sub till launch, if i dont get my names, meh. Theres always more
i resubbed to make sure classic was as good as i remember it, it surpassed my expectations so now i can just wait till launch then login 15$ isnt a big deal to me even though i dont play retail, i got plenty of other games to hold me over like overwatch with its new role queue patch
it’s important to some people who have names that would otherwise 100% be taken by launch day, such as myself.
Because it would cost you $7.50? Pocket lint for many of us in the west.

I have plenty of money, and waste it for stupider things that=n wasting 2 weeks of Game time for a game I don’t get to play (like you said a whole $7.50) but Blizz doesn’t get to see a dime of my money until I get to play. Haven’t played since the end of WotLK, came back in March to try to play until Classic came. Couldn’t stand it. I eagerly await August 27th.
