Who is to blame for faction imbalance

That was hilarious.

Before AOO - “Alliance are babbies, wah wah wah turn it off babby lol let’s go camp their hubs bro

After AOO - “Here’s a 247-page thesis dissertation on how offering gear incentives to the losing faction is causing me to get camped and why that’s bad.”

Whoever found it a good idea to destroy the only thing that kept pvp’ers playing Alliance(EMFH) so they could jam in their stupid pvp talent system. I am guessing a combination of Ion and Holinka.

But in order for them to get the gear to be RNG, and to remove vendors, they had to remove the necessity of the trinkets at a vendor.

So here we are.

I still don’t see how they didn’t see these problems coming with Warmode.

They should go back to PVP servers and watch the balance. If you try to create an Alliance toon on an Alliance-heavy PVP server then you’re blocked.

Otherwise, as long as world pvp is an opt-in thing, you’re never going to be able to control the balance.

I don’t do warmode but one thing I would THINK impacts warmode is the constant QQ and forum threads going over the same tired arguments for why it’s not working. If I were Alliance and thinking of turning Warmode on, the constant tears and dramatic posts would turn me off.

Instead of blaming it’s better to find a solutions because both, Alliance and Horde are suffering from this situation.

It was cut and dry what it took to not only get Alliance to turn on warmode, but to occupy your horde hovel in Dazaralor for days at a time mass murdering every horde clown that showed their stinking faces and wipe clear every zone you showed your stinking hides tried to enter, and it was AOO giving 400 ilvl gear.
It worked too well, a torrent of horde tears and cries flooded the forums and as always, since you are the catered to babies of the franchise, blizzard made the reward worthless so you could go back to sucking your thumbs with 30 v 1 supremacy since everyone else turned WM back off since it wasn’t worth the bothering to do without the good reward.
‘I don’t need an incentive to turn on warmode nyuck nyuck’ ya as if the 30 v 1 wasn’t your incentive? Because when it was 30 v 30 and you couldn’t even keep supremacy in your own capital hub you all turned it off and cried buckets on this very forum. Get serious.

“Here. Let me explain why my faction, which is too scared to engage in wpvp, are in fact the brave ones.”

I’m sure you were one of the whining drones demanding blizzard nerf AOO so you could get back to feeling special about your mediocrity since you couldn’t win a matched fight to save your life

I actually mained Alliance at the time. Ganking lowbies doing island expeds for heroic raid gear was pretty fun.

And you’re not seriously suggesting Alliance ever 1v1, are you?

Then you shouldn’t be so daft as to forget that when AOO was giving up 400 ilvl gear, Alliance was turning Warmode on and Horde was running for the hills and crying buckets on the forums about it being unfair since they actually had to fight Alliance players instead of having a free for all on the rare player that showed up.

I’m not sure what you’re trying to say here. I’m saying that Horde players didn’t take well to Alliance numbers suddenly matching their own and whined endlessly about how AOO rewarding 400 ilvl loot made it harder for them to do their 10 v 1 gameplay they got used to before the reward.

TL;DR: People don’t like to lose.

Oh Gods … “give me the welfare gear and I’ll log on Warmode again.”

And THAT right there is a testament to why Warmode will never work. Alliance won’t do it without a hand out. They proved they could show up in numbers to make World PVP happen but unless you give them a hand out, they won’t do it.

Tbh I switched to Horde this expansion. I’m tired of losing.

Sad cause since I switched my life in game has been nothing but easy mode.

I want to play Alliance but Blizzard makes it so hard with all the Horde bias.

Please explain how, since swapping, it’s become easy mode.

Pvp is super easy now

Pve has a ton of people

Blizzard loves me now

BFA is feels like a social experiment expansion sometimes… my conspiracy theory is that Blizz is stoking completely out-of-character faction conflict as a form of marketing. Anger sells, doesn’t it?

All of this tells me you’re an LFR hero.

Lmao :joy:

Salty cause I’m calling Horde ez mode?

Grow up

Id say 90% the players and 10% on Blizzard.

Most players just tend to follow the crowd like sheep. And right now, the Horde is the cool, hip, awesome faction that has all the top tier raid and PvP players/guilds. And i guess everyone likes to think they have a shot of being up there in the big league and going horde would you give you a higher chance of that.

Blizzard takes some of the blame. It’s completely subjective but so far in BfA, the devs have given the Horde side some cooler toys. Alliance gets several horses, the horde gets unique mounts that are different from each other, etc. Arguably better racials, more of an “macho-alpha male dude-bro” storyline, etc.

In the end, Blizzard isnt forcing anyone to choose factions so player balance is mostly up to us in the end. Personally im content with my Worgen toons, raiding up to Heroic, and lower BG queue times. So ill stay blue.

Why would anyone transfer just because its free?

It’s weird how the Alliance doesn’t remember EMFH being absolutely OP in MoP and WoD and only got toned down in Legion. Every serious PvPer was a human and the Alliance dominated the rated PvP.

Hell, even the charts are dominated by Alliance NOW:
