Hello I just came back to the game and am trying to relearn shadow priest and I saw a couple of clips circulating jahmili and chan’s stream earlier of this guy (spoils) claiming to be the best sp player in NA; he insists that he is better than prev and then proceeds to disrespect wizk but saying he is a pikaboo + absterge boost
I didn’t play in dragonflight or much of shadowlands but I seem to remember prev won almost every major tournament in SL and wizk is also an insane player but I have never even heard of this spoils guy
is this guy a newer player on the rise or an older player? does anyone know who this guy is?

Because anything 3v3 does not matter in the sense that at that point it’s all team based. To which the team is the only thing that matters at that point.
Pika and sterge would not be getting rank 1 of Wizk is dead weight. Rank one takes all three people to be good players to achieve. The same principal can be applied to tournament play. There’s no shot that Zang and Drake are winning that final if Prev is a garbage player.
We’ve all see what happens when someone in Solo Shuffle gets pointed out as the weak link. The same thing applies in high rated 3v3.
No doubt he’s a good Sp, but he going smack talk other SP’s that preform better than him. Well no one should take him seriously.
Idrk the guy. Played with him once, he seemed super nice. Super vocal about mistakes and talked about things the team could do better in a helpful and constructive way.
Former r1 mage back in the day, mostly plays sp now.
Definitely a solid player, I don’t think he’s better than prev or wizk.
If he wasn’t then why would he say he is? On twitch, featured in clips, every day he is. Sterge won’t even play with him. Guess that’s just the way it is.
I’m curious if he is from the old GW2 Team Abjured as well. Their leader Nos was who ran the old GW2 team. They were really good as a team, but destroyed the PvP scene over there. Their main business was running pilots, selling win trades, and manipulating the ladder.

You do understand that both pika and absterge have been getting r1s, across multiple expacs, with multiple comps, across multiple teams and characters, for a long time right? They don’t need wizk to get a title. And doubling down into this, the reason the team stays together is purely friendship. People overlook synergy pretty heavily when it comes to team building.
Prevy is also an exact copy of this. I personally think Prevy is top 3 players in the world for mechanical ability, but he doesn’t solo carry AWCs. Even back when Brian was playing with them over Zhang, the trio makes a lot of individual outplays that no one really saw because the casual player doesn’t understand what they’re looking at. Every player has to pull their own weight, and they all do it spectacularly.
It’s extremely disingenuous to any of the players saying that without them the rest can’t do something. Every single one of them can find a different way.
Anyways, I could list 12 spris on NA alone that are better than this guy and that’s without really thinking on the minor details, so take that how you will.
I think you’re under the impression that I’m saying they are unable to, I’m not.
What I’m saying is that if these Sp’s were playing at anything under a Gladiator level while also their teammates were required to keep playing with them, the performance wouldn’t be there.
I’m confident they they could play with just about anyone on their battle tag and get R1’s with enough time / effort in a season.
But my point was these teams wouldn’t be preforming well if Wiz and Prev weren’t top tier players.
