It’s pretty easily Denathrius.

The only other contenders are meme characters like Theotar or Marileth. Everyone else is garbage.

I’d agree on Berrymoon as well.

Though every single character in Shadowlands was awful.

Sire Denathrius, and it isn’t particularly close despite SL actually doing side stories decently well overall.

oh right. forgot about denathrius… i keep forgetting he exists… maybe cause everytime i’ve seen him in-game, i can’t help but see the male-draenei skeleton they used for him.

They tend to be able to write zone specific stories. I actually liked all four zones, maybe with Bastion at the bottom but not necessarily bad.

Marileth’s plot was a gut punch and made me care about him and Maldraxxus more than I ever thought I would.

I agree! I am really glad I went through all the zone stories, one with each toon. They were all pretty good. I did not expect to like Maldraxxus, as I hated the chaotic intro to the zone, but it grew on me and the stories there were good.

I’m going to second (third?) Marileth and Theotar. Bwonsamdi was alright, but not as interesting as he was in BfA.
