Monk, druid, and shaman are usuall6 my go to healers. I LOVE complex healing classes. So I definitely plan to swap and see if they mesh. Unless they’re awful I should be good.

Might be the first caster character i play, mainly because THEY HAVE THEIR STUPID WEAPON HIDDEN.
I cant stand casters because of that alone, I hate that i cant hide it, or at least have it in my hands while im casting. Nope. Just strap it to their back. Looks trashy af.
I wanted to but probably wont unless their transmog restrictions are lifted. Thats too much of a loss to main it for me.
Switching? Doubtful. I’ve had this guy since Cata. But I’ll try one out, sure.
You are going to be sorely disapointed then. The dps spec is said to be brain-dead simple. Its been called a ranged demon hunter by more than one person. The healer spec has a deep learning curve, however.

I made the mistake of changing my main to Demon Hunter in Legion. I regretted it after Emerald Nightmare. I’m very interested to try out the healer Evoker spec, but not as a main change.

I watched multiple videos and they never said dps was brain dead.
Probably me, healing evoker is getting a ton of old hpal spells and appears to work really similarly
Their main damage/heal is a better version of denounce+holy shock, their mastery is actually useful, the disintegration ray is basically harsh word, the essence is literally holy power with builders removed and passive generation instead
It’s basically going to play like hpal but have more options imo

I like what i see though and i LOVE Dracthyr. It all depends on how it feels while i play it at this point.

Nope, no way, never. This will be my 4th xpack im running my lock.
Ain’t switching but I do plan on making one for an alt. I have this idea where one is basically a friendly rival with Rosenivy. A “pfft these outsiders think they’re so cool. we’re cool too!” sorta thing. I like picturing them flying and getting into flying races with him
Looks to be more powerful than Disc - which is an easy bar to clear - and more fun too since you’re actually directly healing your targets.
I intend to make the Evoker my new main, I will play mainly as a DPS, but some content like LFR or temporal dungeons I can play as a healer.
the main factor that made me change is that the evoker/dracthyr are a dragon class, and i love dragons.
