so I decided to look up ogres on wowpedia just to see how big they could get and found an interesting fact
draenor DOES have a non draenei name! Dawgar! This has always been something that annoyed me, the planet is named after the draenei and I never really found an answer on if the planet had a name before they showed up until now.
very much a side tangent. Anyway, the average height for males is 6-12ft
average height for tauren is apparently 10ft
the average tauren would beat the average ogre, but a 12ft ogres would no doubt beat a 10ft tauren. In a raw feat of strength anyway, actual contests of skill would be up to the individual not the race.
a 2ft height difference is huge.

ogres are but tauren are obviously smarter so they might still win.
