I don’t know what they originally intended in BfA, but as an Alliance only player, that “girl with ravens hair” that Flynn is supposedly in love with had to be Taelia.
She’s Fordragon’s daughter, he’s a chrasimatic pirate who got out of the game for a raven haired beauty… she’s the only dark/black haired young woman of import we alliance players ever meet in Kul Tiras during the BfA campaign… She is also clearly friends with Flynn, her adopted father is Flynn’s new boss who helped him escape the pirate life, it all made sense, but as every Alliance player knows all too well, the BfA story basically fizzled out at the Boralus dungeon in game cinematic. Everything else lore-wise felt cut off or rushed or half-baked after that. Like they kinda just ran out of time in development and just did the best they could with what they had…

Sorry Flynn, you’re not gonna get Taelia as she’s going to marry Anduin, be revealed to be the last living daughter of Calia and inherit Lordaeron, making Anduin a Super King.
Shaw is gonna hit up Valeera because she’s a rogue and has had screentime with him and that’s all it takes in these things.
And it would be so bloody boring
