I remember this movie and I loved it. Was awesome to watch and I honestly really do see the parallels here. If Shaw ever drinks, that’d be rather funny to see in game.
But yes, let the new book do this relationship, romantic or just platonic, JUSTICE.

I’m too tired to write dialogue but I just imagine a sort of play fight because they both buzzed. Shaw has Flynn pinned on the ground and is trying to be all tough and tell Flynn how reckless he was during the heist but he just sighs. Realizing at this moment he’s too buzzed and tired to be serious so he just rests his head on Flynns chest. Flynn just pats him in a supportive playful way. “There there tough guy.”

Never HAS to be gay. I’d be just as happy to see them as drinking buddies or frequent partners in “crime” (Not actual crime…of course")
Nasically, just make them have more interactions cuz I loved the ones within the scenario setting up for Dazar’alor.

I think Shaw & Fairwind kind of have the same relationship as Sean and Gus from the Netflix series ‘Psych’. And if you’ve never seen ‘Psych’, watch a few episodes and then tell me part of your brain doesn’t hear Shaw and Flynn in their place 
It should be, but everybody’s shipping Flynn. Which is completely out of nowhere.
It’s likely Shaw’s about to take one for the team, if the incoming book is any indication
Flynn and Shaw do have some relations, particularly in the Dazar’alor quest chain in getting the scepter of tides. We all probably know it’s not gonna be Flynn but let us shippers ship my guy. It has some basis to it after all.
Also what do you mean take one for the team? It’s not like Shaw’s gonna die via the gay bullet if they even do that (which even I doubt) lol.
