even having a druid, nothing makes me smile as big as when i hit Soar and watch her take off with her own wings. it feels awful putting her on a flying mount, i use the manhole cover from MoP as it feels the least weird to look at. putting her on a DR mount feels especially awful.
i’m pretty hyped.

100%. I’ve been using the Cartel Glider from Shadowlands as my normal mount for the same reason, looks the most ridiculous for a Dracthyr to mount. I can’t wait to use my wings as they were intended!

I was wondering…will we still dismount as soon as we land or will it be a flight mode? Like, I don’t want to accidentally clip a tree and be forced to glide down. Or land near some monster, autodismount and be forced to fight it or escape. I also like using the diving stun. Will that even work on Dracthyr?

Finally. It will be a great day

Only thing to make it perfect is Flame caller trinket being in my vault finally.

Finally I can have the advantage of farming mogs and pet battles quickly the way I always intended to when I rolled this character.

I’m kidding but I am really excited. I’ll still probably use some mounts though, because I spent a long time farming things like the island thunderscale, etc.

now about that 25 yard casting range…

I don’t pvp. but I’ll definitely go War Mode only to be able to spin into people mid air with my own wings and throw them off their mounts. Lightfury style

New Soar is amazing.

Now we’re just lacking an Hover ground mount form.

Maybe something along the lines of Hover is permanent and gives mount speed when cast outside of combat. And Soar triggers hover when touching the ground.
