I’ll be maining horde on Mankrik because that’s what my brother’s wife’s brother and cousin are doing, and it’s coming back up the family chain to drag me in. =P

Yeah, it was the only Horde-named Normal server I recognized. One was named after…Nat Pagle…?? And the others I didn’t recognize at all.
Yeah Mankrik and Pagle are the two options for pve est servers. If I get into raiding I want to be in my time zone
Is Mankrik specifically an EST server? I live on PST.
I’ll be playing as Isz, the tauren shaman.
Leveling as enhance, then full time heals at 60.
It looks like not many old friends are coming back (on Mankrik, anyway) so hopefully I can find new people to play with.

me and my girlfriend will be partnering up on mankrik. probably gonna do a orc warrior or ill do a undead priest first havent really made up my mind shes playing a mage but hasnt figure if she wants troll or undead. (Rotak, Kator, Altok) look forward to seeing you all there! ^.^

It is, but unless you are fussing with cutting edge PvP, the ping difference isn’t likely to matter. (Well, some people care that the game looks like night when it’s only afternoon for them.)
Everyone I’m playing with is based in the Chicago area, and I’m the lone wolf out in California, but I expect very little difference.
Darn! I didn’t know that. I just went off of the name I liked best. I hope they let us do one free realm transfer, as I’m glad I got the name I did yesterday. I live on Pacific coast.
We have a lot of medivh horde veterans coming back to Mankrik. There’s about 20 in our guild so far.

There’s a lot of speculation that the EST servers will actually be in Chicago, CST.
Hmm…I don’t want it to be nighttime in-game when it’s still afternoon where I am. I tend to not like night in video games.
