I keep getting mysterious friend requests. Some sound sketchy.
Is there a way to look these people up before accepting
If you don’t know who it is, why would you even consider accepting? Click decline and move on. Common sense.

Never accept friend request in blizzard. Ever.

Probably some form of gold selling. Unless you’re expecting a friend request from somebody, just decline it.

Just accept them and then remove them from your fiends list noboday expects that.

My motto is the less people you chill with, the less bs you deal with.
If I was just playing with a group, that’s the time I would expect a friend invite. You make a note of when they contacted you, makes it easier to follow up.
Unless I have a reason to think I’ve had something to do with this person, I wouldn’t accept.

Weird. I ask the person requesting, “Do I know you?” That seems safer than accepting a request from some rando.
I get friend requests all the time in Discord. They never DM me, explaining who they are, so I just hit decline.

I also had a weird situation where someone was Friend Requesting me, too.
I’d accept and they wouldn’t say anything, was very creepy. Just followed me silently around Mald until I removed them.
Maybe they thought I was their herb bot druid taxi or something.
No one has ever friend requested me through B-tag, only in game. At least, no one I don’t actually know.
