Had this happen in an LFR run last night, I had rolled on a tier token, in which a scalper of course won the roll. Then turned around and tried to sell it for 1 mil, like it get it’s the second week for the raid and people are clamoring to get their hands on tier pieces and trinkets especially. Yet holy moly who actually pays that much for it?!
What’s it made out of? I don’t fly for those wooden tier tokens.

Oh before you say its not possible to have that much gold. you clearly not met people who shuffle and mog farm sitting on more gold then people have on some realms combined between all the players
I mean at that point they would be better off buying a clear from a guild and being spoonfed gear.

sells for ~500k and it takes a while.
why would an lfr piece capped at 606 go for 1mil? i’d just ignore that and move on lol

It’s a negotiation tactic, always start high lol.
Had someone try and sell a Beledar mount for 500k starting and it went all the way down to 25k lol.

I mean it falls into the free market the game has, followed by the consequences of the new loot system. I don’t agree with it either, yet it’s also not a bannable offense at the end of the day.

I have seen ppl in gw2 spend 5000 USD to make a legendary , so its not really surprising
