Who in the world is writing this story?

Pretty sure this is what the OP meant. There’s viewable violence and destruction but the path to it is riddled with positivity content. It’s all ooey gooey, friendship and family, we’ll get it done type stuff. That’s a first for WoW without it being an utter mockery of itself.

Even Kalecgos is like some “Ugh, I don’t know…,” and “But how can I be sure?” and so on and so forth. That’s not to say all characters are without backbones, it’s just that the ones without are prominent. Obnoxiously so.

Ebyssian sitting aside for 3 million years and just now trying to be so hyper apologetic for his past. It’s like WoW is trying to do redemption arks “better”. He acts like a teenager. Do adult dragons never mature because life is so easy for them?

Dare I say this story is an insult to adult-grade writing. It’s teen grade at best and that’s a mockery to good teen fantasy. No offense to anyone who likes the current story. It’s just not built for adults and there’s nothing wrong with that.
