ive met him a bunch of times yeah. usually on the last floor when the boss kills me in like 3 shots

It’s the same as trying to hype BFA as “Hey don’t you feel proud yet?” while trashing your favourite characters.

Doesn’t excite me in the least. Another random boss but at least has a lore buildup.

Have you seen soome of the early powers rogues had in Torghast? It was REALLY bad. I’ve met that thing quite a few times.

I have and once he bugged out, I told my friend to just hide, we hid from him and finished the run. Good times.

In some of the broker-floors in Torghast, you can see the Tarrague just kneeling by a large metal gate, unable to reach you.

I’ve seen him behind the gate…but he has never killed me.

Once before the nerfs.

You can parry him, but once that runs out he inevitably one shots you.

This attitude here ^^ is why there is so much hate for Torghast.

98.3% of the time, you do your run, you get “all the powers”, you crush it, you win it. No problem.

There there are certain situations that, despite this bragadocious attitude are LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE to win.

Don’t take my word for it, there have been plenty of threads here from the people it’s happened to. And while it may not be that common, once if happens to you, you’ll fully understand all of the deserved hatred for a system that takes an hour or more of your time, only to conclude with a boss that you ABSOLUTELY CANNOT KILL.

TC is even worse, because it takes 3+ hours of your time with the same absurd result.

So… strut all you want. Just because it hasn’t happened to you doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen at all.

I met him once earlier on. I forgot he existed and he stomped me into the ground.

I literally only found out what it was last night after looking it up on WoWhead because I had no idea why I was supposed to care about it becoming a raid boss.

At which point my reaction was, “Oh, it’s that thing outside the windows?”

Didn’t know this was a thing that existed. Struggled a couples time early on in Torghast but never actually failed.

I met him once when me and a friend were doing it on weak alts. It was pretty funny actually

I did in one of my runs in Twisting Corridors and on my really low geared mage kited him to kill a boss.

I have gotten to the last boss in twisting corridors, had my pet 1-2 shotted by him, and been “nope, i’m out”. If the last boss can crush my pet with all the powers i choose that will let him survive multiple packs of elites, then there’s no way to beat him. Sometimes, it’s just not possible.
