I just discovered the table mission app. It’s convenient when I’m at work and want a wow fix. Just curious what others think about it?
App, or addon? Doesn’t matter to me. I just pick a mission, send some high and low level characters, then pick up the loot later.
I’ve been using the app to run missions at work since Legion. It’s quite handy. Though I didn’t use it much in BfA because that table was absolutely useless. The SL incarnation seems like it’ll be fun once I can finally max out my adventurers, but god is that going to take forever. I don’t get xp missions anymore so I have to just try and level them up one failed gold dragon 12 hour mission at a time…
I have 3 of the 4 mission table mounts. I’m sure once I have my 4th, I won’t touch it again.
But, I’ve primarily been using the app as well. Even if I’m on my computer. If my character isn’t at my covenant sanctum, I’ll just log out, do the mission on my phone, and log back in lol.
Is it the wow companion app?
Blizzard EULA lets them sell your personal info now. Nothx.
Yes. That’s the one.
I didn’t realize this. Thanks for sharing.
When do I get to quests that reward mounts? My missions are in the high teens right now, and so are my adventurers.
all day every day while working or doing other things.
Mounts , pets, pet charms, anima, gear (I <3 my neck that got me my epic achievement)
Along the mission table, you should have missions that say “Adventure Campaign Progress” . They have an extra icon by the reward that looks like a helm.
There are roughly 15 of these if memory serves correctly. Once you get through all of them, the next ones will reward mounts. Fair warning: these mount missions are max lvl 60 missions. Night fae still seem to have the easiest time with the mission table, making these missions possible. I have no idea about the rest.
Is it wise to pace it, and level the hero units evenly? Or should I just max out one or two and run them that way?
Doesn’t work on my wireless network. Only works when connected to my home wifi. Kinda defeats the purpose.
got a mount from a level 32 campaign mission.
If you’re night fae, there’s mostly 2 things to focus on. The level of your Dreamweaver adventurer and the level of your trapper follower. The level of your follower is determined by the median lvl of your adventurers. I have successfully completed 3 of the 4 mount missions with dreamweaver+4x trappers.
Each time you complete the campaign missions, the overall lvl of your missions increases. So, be careful not to outpace too far, or you may end up having to send adventurers on death missions just to get xp, like myself.
Bonus XP missions disappear once you’ve completed all of the adventure campaign missions, so progress with that in mind. My dreamweaver is lvl 38 currently with lvl 37 trappers.
Would love to see a link to which mission you’re referring to? There are only 4 mounts that come from the table, and they come from specific campaign missions that only show up on your table after you’ve finished all of the other campaign missions.
I make about 150 points of progress a day toward my weekly 1000 on my “4 main” covenant representatives, from work! While I only keep most of the anima in the reservoir due to the fee of the mission, the whole yield counts toward the weekly because the weekly is counted on acquisition. It was a big factor in me keeping up on all four stories, highly recommend it!
I don’t see it. Rare and Epic missions have way more health and do way more damage than any other mission. I’ve been trying to level up my followers, but it was like hitting a brick wall. Unless I’m just missing something, because I really don’t see how to do these missions. Even if my team did 800-900 damage, they’d still have to survive for like 15-20 turns.
There’s one specific night fae combo that can cheese most missions. It received a minor nerf, but it still seems to mostly work. It just requires a little bit higher level now.
I can truly say I have zero idea how the mission table works with the turns, I’ve never studied the abilities, etc… but I’m nearly done with it thanks to the Night Fae strat. Once I get the mounts, I likely won’t touch it again.
Dreamweaver is 32, Niya is 31.
Oh, EDIT, the trappers are 28.
I tried using it for awhile… Most of the time I could never connect so I just deleted it.
According to a WoWhead comment, the level of your followers (trappers) are based on the median level of your main adventurers. So, if you pick up a new adventurer from Torghast tonight for instance, it will be lvl 1 and will drop the level of your trappers. So, be mindful of that.
I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks for the help.
