Who else pre ordered founders packs?

Early access in two weeks begins for lost ark! Hoping it will be a nice distraction between now and 10.0 I will probably check out 9.2 but I’m just feeling so burnt out on SL. Everything about it from the armor sets to zones and color pallette are all so Blah to me.

I played the beta and had a blast. It’s a nice mix of wow meets diablo the artwork is gorgeous in the game.

My only real gripe is it not being truly open world with the zone loading but let’s be honest, shadowlands is basically the same thing at this point. Gotta load from zone to zone to zone.

I can’t decide between hunter or the new mage class. Leaning towards hunter though!

What will you play? What are you going to do with your 3 day full head start? Will you have microwave food stocked and skip the dishes on speed dial?

Can’t wait to get my fingers sifting through the mountains of silver from my founders chests. I may be guilty of having purchased the platinum, gold and silver pack to stack them all :gasp:

I did that with new world. Boy, there is an extra $10 I’d like back.

I played a bit 2 months ago, it was fun.

I generally wait a few months before buying things.

Avoid the Cyberpunk and New World fiascos.

So far the updates and fixes have been nonstop so it looks like it’s gonna be another No Man’s Sky like redemption story for Cyberpunk. But it has looooooooooong way to go.

Have you seen what’s in the founders pack? Probably stuff along the lines of what’s included in it.

Stuff like: Pets, Mounts, premium currencies, skins, character slots, and then the “crystalline aura” which seems to be something you have to constantly pay for like a sub, and it gives you boosts and quality of life stuff.

On the beta i speed levelled so itll be nice to do all the side quests and finally stop along the way to kill all the rares lol

Games been out for 2-3 years already, you can find anything about it that you’d like.

Its definitely much closer to diablo in terms of playstyle. Imagine diablo but mmo with player housing and the diablo pvp arena thing in the town but 3v3/1v1 and rated soloq or casual play

The only similarities to RuneScape would be click to move and lodestone network for teleportation

From what I heard about Lost Ark is that the game is good at what it does. However, the question is whether that’s good for someone who enjoys WoW. Just because its a good MMO doesn’t mean its gameplay targets this particular audience.

Also, unlike new World this game has been out for 2-3 years in Korea already, its just being localized and altered a bit for the west on Steam. Not sure what the localization fully entails, but its never a fast process for any game.

Long story short, if it didn’t have the Amazon name behind it, it would still be listed as an early access game by steam.

Very excited for Lost Ark.
But I’m not paying for anything until it’s out.

Nah, lost ark isn’t a new game. Don’t hop on the hype train for every new MMO, you saw what happened to new world.

Aren’t these two statements conflicting? Because LA isn’t a new game we already know what we’re going to be getting into.
