because i did
Why exactly? Need some specific here.
Why would I cringe? Nathanos is a little girl. I’m suprised Blizzard had the audacity to not have Malfurion kill him right then and there, if that’s what you mean.
How some bloke whos claim to fame is he is so good with a bow he can do what an average elf can do (which is impressive in its own right) is not just obliterated by what is essentially a demi god is beyond stupid writing but I expect these days from Mr Self-Insert.
Malfurion is one smexchy mofo. Got chills when he grabbed the troll up on the tree, got real close and whispered sweet nothings in his ear…
One of the few good thing this expansion has done has made Mal and Tyrande actually cool for once after so many years of just flailing about in the background or having cringe filled dialog of how much they love eachother.
They actually seem to be proper powerful figures in their respected fields and worthy to lead. Honestly its the biggest twist BFA has had yet to have these two characters actually be competent and cool.
Wish the Horde could get some of that buuut…
malfurion is a beta
I thought it was pretty good - he flat out buried a orc alive. They did a good job with relaying that Night Elves were caught off guard - now mourning and sorrow is over, anger, resentment and vengeance have taken it’s place.
Night Elves were pretty savage, murder all intruders, until Mafurion was woken up. The Orc’s even commented how savage and aggressive they are first time meeting. Malfurion was the calm and level headed one (his wife just wanted to murder all the humans/orcs on sight).
If Malfurion is done being the level headed and calm one and has been consumed by vengeance - that’s pretty scary. Just hope they keep up the momentum and don’t screw over the story by bad plots (raising/betrayal undead Night Elves) or slow it down so he goes 'I’M SO MAD, I’M COMING TO DESTROY YOU… in a few months or so, give or take"
You realize those people who were bringing the supply crates never stood a chance at one of the most powerful beings in the warcraft lore?
Can you elaborate on your stance, OP?
Is there any reason that a druid who can shapeshift, striking under the cover of magical darkness, would not be able to ambush a zombie with a bow?
Demi-gods and ultra powerful Druids are no match for a dude with a bow and lots of plot armor.
Just like this expac.
Im talking about the battle for darkshore, when malfurion roots nathanos or whatever nerds
I did cringe a lot in that scenario, but not at that part.
I think this is the problem. Suddenly out of nowhere, after years of existential threats to the planet, they get a personality transplant. I didn’t cringe, but it did seem forced to me.
But then again I just play the game, so I don’t get to know the actual lore.
An expac ago, that orc that got buried alive was doing high fives with Malfurion when he did the Tears of Elune quest line.
Now he’s dead.
What a $hitty way to die.
normies cringe at anything theses days
It’s a personality transplant to be ticked beyond all reason after someone destroys your continent and people?
Agreed, man. Agreed.
OP, there’s no way you can deflect the absolute cringe that came out from finding out that Nathanos is a self-insert of a really strange writer.
