Who Else Came Back to Push Glad? - (Quitting.)

Today I start with 6100hr, play 3 AV (for daily) went 2-1, then 3 EotS (for marks for the neck) end 1-2. All was like 1h40m with the queues. Now I have 8600hr.

I only pug or queue with a friend, all in av unless I need marks.

Ah, that’s a shame. This person did it 3 times.

That must be nice, cause my AVs usually take about 30 min. And its usually 2 losses and 1 win.

Not sure how you fit 3 eots into 10 minutes.

But if you say so.

Worth pointing out as well that points on the very low end are not being calculated properly…

As far as I remember, any rating below 1500, effectively counted as 1500 rating for the purposes of point tabulation and MMR.

I ended up doing some late yolo 5s last night for 10 games, just to get some points last week before i can make a more serious attempt to grab real partners and push, ideally this week. My points today where significantly less than they would have been, assuming a 1500 “default” rating.

“So why is that a bad thing?” You might be asking, since it would effectively hand yolo pugs a rating/points handout every week.

Well, the reason it’s a bad thing, is because the lower end of the PvP rating pyramid ends up being the overwhelming majority of the pvp playerbase by volume, and their particpation in the sytem is what inflates the ratings for people actually trying…The system has to be worth it for them to participate, to avoid the garbage you’ve had since WoD on retail, where the lower bracket population/participation gradually declines further and further. Now I don’t intend to yolo again on my main, but it was a consideration for my alts at least, and it’s undoubtedly a big boon for players who are actually on the lower end of the rating scale and/or don’t have that much time each week. Such players need to be encouraged to participate, not discouraged.

I’m waiting till s3 to even do PVP, not interested in doing low resilence PVP as a shaman when every sweaty loser is playing rogue/lock/mage sitting in full res gear from prepatch

Probably start blaming racials and class balance lol. They will always find an excuse though. If all else fails they will blame lag

dont forget 9.1 is coming out next week!

Weird flex but okay. Most of us didn’t have that type of time or were fortunate enough to join a premade to grind like that. Just because ur small circle were able to do it, doesn’t mean everyone was able to do it.

Well anyone can join a premade, so that point is moot.

But if you didn’t have the time to play the game, that’s fine. You just can’t expect to receive the rewards though if you’re not putting in the time.

I agree that the honor being incorrect for the better part of 2 days was a big issue and Blizzard should have wiped honor points the second you stepped through the Dark Portal to remedy that issue.

The problem is the casual playerbase said it was fine at the time, because they were getting their Grand Marshall purples on boosted alts and didn’t know any better.

The over reaching issue here is that people who don’t know any better will always feel the creep of FOMO. Right now the complaint is BG queues, next it will be resource contention in open world, and so on and so forth until the game is totally catered to people who barely play the game but think they deserve to contend with people who no life the game.

For whatever reason a huge portion of the playerbase is convinced that they could be competitive if Blizzard would just let them. They can’t, the competitive NEETs will always find an advantage and exploit it well before streamers and YouTubers are spilling it to the rest of the population.

I can’t wait for 1 - 2 months from now when people are complaining about exploits/bugs in the game that the competitive playerbase has been abusing since like the first Friday of launch.

The forums looked exactly how they do now when P2.5 launched in Classic. It will alleviate itself with time - people just have no patience - and the eternal war of working class vs. degenerates that no life the game will continue.

For the record I played Undead from Vanilla - current expansion and rolled alliance for Classic. This really is a player created problem with a player created solution - the problem is a lot of the people who are upset over this are not super invested in the game and don’t want to make the effort to make that solution happen.

Thanks. Ya’ll need to start adding tldr;. No ones gonna read a book lmao.

Mate, I am putting in the time. At best, I can average 600 honor an hour if I do my very hardest in world PvP to kill as many ally as I can. Except for AV, honor gains in bg’s are very bad. 600 honor an hour is being generous mind you. 11.5k honor for the cheapest accessories… You can do the math to see how long that’ll take.

So you’re saying, 200+ hours for the blue set and accessories is completely fine? And spending 6 hours with a premade at night for 4.8k honor seems about right? At least, thats how much I got when we spam qued AB. Stop trying to say I should just accept the grind, there was clearly an exploit in the game as blizzard rushed TBC on us as fast as possible. It is ridiculous how long it takes to grind PvP gear.

In contrast, it took me less than 4 days to get fully geared for PvE, I got mostly pre raid bis as a lot of the gear can be grinded from the high level normals and a few were even from quests!!! How neat is that? If we’re going to talk about gear, it is important to talk about the amount of time it takes for both styles of gameplay.

Just popping in to inform you that you’re playing a Human right now.

Thats 2.3. Thats not how it was in s1.

Yes it is.

That’s how it always was. Stop the gaslighting and misinformation. I don’t know who thought this would be a valid strategy to get Blizzard to change things but it’s just not gonna work.

Be reasonable and offer more than lies. That’s going to go a lot further in you getting what you want.

Have you played the game OP? Spells are bugged, values seem incorrect as well as all those little nifty “features” the reengineered copy of 2.4.3 brought with it, not to mention that we are in the wrong patch for this season.

Imagine thinking glad means anything in this clownfest.

No, I don’t think it’s fine. I didn’t think the Vanilla PVP grind was fine either.

That doesn’t mean that it should change though. If we changed things based on what we liked and what we didn’t like… then we wouldn’t have TBC.

So it’s okay for store mounts and boosts along with the changes to the rating you start at in arena i can go all day, but when it comes to a change that will help the game and its player base its not okay you are high

Who is saying that these are okay?

Blooms you just want to argue for the sake of arguing just like you claimed the top arena team didn’t have resil when in fact they have full sets of resil, you are a literal troll
