I’ll apologize in advanced I just need some clarification if I’m noticing the same things everyone else is who came to push gladiator yet again.

The prepatch honor bug, giving 1000% honor to some ppl for like twelve hours so they could get fully capped. My friend had 300+ resilience opening arena day because of this bug. Everybody else was only able to farm about half the gear. This is an unnatural advantage, my friend climbed to 1900+ on same class much easier than other locks with 100ish resilience.

The rewarded honor, currently is being divided by everyone around you so you get 1 honor per kill in big groups. This was not the case in TBC, if someone died everyone received the full amount. So instead of 1 honor more like 15 or 17 honor per person for example. While the current reward bonus is correct, the honor for kills is NOT and has been proven already. Blizzard failed royally here.

Starting arena at 0 instead of 1500, how is this staying true to classic when this modern implementation was done which absolutely NOBODY asked for? How can you rant about no changes and staying true to the game but then do this? This was not how it was in TBC, there was absolutely no reason to even do this. Blizzard’s response is so teams work harder together to push rating.

Ques times response from Blizzard is atrocious, “player made problems needing player made solutions”, ppl have presented many different solutions for que times. It’s amazing how blizzard will totally rewrite arena rating starting at 0 but won’t do anything for que times. “Reroll alliance”, is not a valid argument nor is it for the pvp talents, I’ve played undead my whole life as my favorite race from WC3 like many others. This is game dev problem, needing dev solution. Yeah, keep ppl waiting 40mins, see who pays money for that.
There’s 3 cheaters who used the honor bug and now have 2k in 3’s, they’re getting an insane amount of arena points this week, points they wouldn’t have fully attained without their unfair gear/resil advantage. This sets them up for the whole expansion having 1-2 week advantage on points because of gear advantage due to Blizzards honor screw up.
tldr There are 4 major issues which are Blizzard caused problems which have royally screwed pvp/arena for many who came back specifically for arena and to push gladiator. Here are the four glaring issues which have caused many pvp’rs already to quit.

Game bad. Arena integrity doesn’t exist. Bugs. Exploits. Queue times. Horde world domination. Player problem.

Pve is doing awesome as expected, ppl loving Karazhan and attempting Mag in blues again. it’s not the game is bad overall, but rather pvp/arena is bad. However, that’s due specifically to Blizzard caused problems. Imo, they rushed this expansion for shareholders. Now ppl who are not satisfied will quit as the grind is no longer worth it to them.

I’ll be back for wrath to attempt glad again but praying for a level, equal playing field with no advantages created by Blizzard screw ups like TBC’s case, most likely caused by them rushing the release. Anyways, thank you and take care wishing you fun adventures in WoW as mine comes to a close!

Ah just read what you said lol was responding to him and then read your message, gotcha haha! I’ll ignore him!
Yeah man, I was really looking forward to coming back but slaving away doing pvp only for other ppl to be fully geared cause blizz made bug, then not being able to catch up cause blizz calculating honor from kills wrong or being able to que I mean eventually Alliance going to have lead in gear next season when they buy every new epic honor piece first day of release cause they farmed to cap easier, and teams at 0 makes ppl team hop less, finding partners was never ever this hard.
It’s just sad man how this actually hasn’t been addressed yet 300/400hrs to complete an entry level blue set is just a joke, there’s so many ways they can tackle and address this problem but yet they haven’t, this is a massive barrier of entry for players and is causing players to quit and we try to voice this issue to try and make the game better and you have trolls come in telling you to re roll or trying to justify the problem

You had two weeks without the bug to farm the honor. They even buffed it for prepatch.
Wrong. Loads of proof already to prove that honor calculations are accurate.
This is really a non-issue, but Blizzard even said during many interviews for TBC that there would be some changes.
This seems ironic because in number 3, you’re upset at them making a change, but here, you are essentially asking them to make a change.

You are the same troll that tried to tell me the top team in NA doesn’t have resil gear and you were proven wrong to troll, the point here isn’t the fact that honor gains are wrong or correct this is called looking at it objectively and understanding that the 350+ hrs of grind for blue LEVEL ENTRY SET ISN’T HEALTHY FOR THE GAME but once again don’t know why im responding you are an actual troll
Nope, you’re wrong! And I did farm two weeks can’t you read I said I managed to get half the blue gear lol oh and did I forget to mention YOU’RE WRONG! Wrong, wrong, wrong! How does it feel to be incorrect?
The OP is the one that is talking about honor gains being incorrect. So yeah, it is kinda the point.
You farmed for two weeks and didn’t get 75k honor with the buff? How many hours did you farm per day? It’s kinda irrelevant because the point still stands. Those that prepared for TBC get the advantage.
Right, so I posted my sources. Where are yours?
Yeah man exactly, honestly, if que times were normal I’d do the grind like Alliance even if calculated honor is wrong but not way am hell am sitting around for 40m-1hr every time I want to get BG’s rolling.
Eventually, you weigh out your level of satisfaction to the level of grind and decide nah this isn’t worth it. I am loving PVE right now but came for PVP so am quitting, even though I could raid log and greatly enjoy it. I came here for arena and gladiator, it’s all many of us care about. Blizz didn’t give us arena ppl much importance.
yeah a combination of class mechanics being a bit buggy and some other details its sorta a sad state for S1, maybe S2 will be good but its blizzard and I don’t think they care much about PVP.
