They both have a lot of history with dark arts, but I’d have to say orcs myself.
Idk, Orc locks are pretty awesome, but I love my UD lock so I would have to go with Forsaken
Orcs seem to have the evil streak you expect from a Warlock. Forsaken too, but in a slightly tragic, victim of circumstance way. Orcs seem more willfully evil (to me).
Orc for Destro or Demo, Undead for Affliction
In my clearly unbias opinion, Forsaken. Obviously.
Only reason orcs have green skin is because of fel.
In the original wow cinematic the warlock was undead
Orcs.
Something about them yelling at demons to do their bidding just fits.
I have to go with Undead over Orcs, simply due to Iron Maiden
Orcs definitely. OG shadow council.
They used an Undead Warlock on the openings of Vanilla and TBC.
So I’m gonna say Undead.
For some reason I thought that pic was of a shaman - all these years. Crazy.
Those crazy Undead Shamans with Infernal pets lol
Forsaken hands down
It was the beads he was holding, it threw me off!
They come at it from different angles.
Orcs were turned to serve powerful demonic forces, and some of them were like “okay, yes, give me some minions, I’m onboard.” A lot of those warlocks were once shamans, which has a tragic feel about it.
Forsaken, whether from the time they were living Lordaeronians or after waking up in the crypt, have come to warlockery more independently. They saw power there, and decided they wanted a piece of it.
For me, it’s whether you want your pursuit of demonic power to be a reaction to the situation your entire race was put in, or a personal choice to tap into fel magic.
Orcs get a ton of cred in that they have gul’dan, but on an individual basis I find a forsaken lock more compelling, it’s my main in classic though I may change that to orc shaman, go figure.
Really like my orc warlock. So ripped, not just casting destruction spells but throwing them with my bulging muscles. And demons? ha they think i use magic to keep control of them? Muscles take care of that.
Orcs, because Gul’dan is is literally the most famous warlock.
