I just discovered this song (and band for that matter) and I just love it. It’s beautiful. Judith Durham had the voice of an angel (may she RIP)
What about musicals? You folks like musicals? I just found this song from a musical that has been quite popular I hear. It’s a great song and I’m thinking of checking it out on the Apple TV store.

I just like that Weinberg filled in for his Dad in The E-street Band. If my fellow Springsteenites only knew there was a Slip-knot drummer up there… 
Yeah, there’s this stigma around metal bands that they don’t know music like other musicians do, and that simply isn’t true. Slipknot’s members have a wide variety of musical talents and diverse genre competencies.
They are some of the most skilled and dedicated musicians in the industry.
Even Corey Taylor has a second band called Stone Sour to create songs too “soft” for Slipknot.
Very true. One of my favorite guitarist is Adrian Smith from Iron Maiden and he has side projects which focus on more bluesy rock. He sings and plays in a completely different manner than the IM stuff. There is so much talent in those bands that a lot of people call “noise”.
I will never like/ heart a human paladin post. Just sayin 
That’s just because they don’t have an ear for it yet. It’s sort of like eating food when you’re a kid. You don’t really know if you hate something when you try it or not, because your first encounter with it was nothing more than an opportunity for your brain to realize that such a thing exists.
Only through repeated exposure do you begin to discern the flavors and textures of various ingredients and determine if you like them or not.
The same is true of music. I’ve legit met people who think Eminem isn’t rapping in Godzilla. They think he’s just buzzing his lips. They can’t hear any words. I hear every word he is saying. Picking that out is similar to picking out riffs and basslines in metal tracks, appreciating distortions and well-timed reverb, and generally being able to enjoy the production.
This is Nickaeladin, btw. The forums finally caught up with the fact that I moved her to another server/faction and randomly logged me out. I made a new one on the old server but she isn’t available on my list, at least not yet! I lost lounge access, but hopefully will get it back soon.

Nui is also one of my faves, he’s funny and has good insight.
I have to add Humanbeak to my list. They seem to have settled down quite a bit and have actually had some really thoughtful posts and responses imho.
Peppermint, even though she hasn’t commented as much as of late, she’s got a wonderful personality.
Jalanili is also one of my favorites too! She’s very thoughtful, kind and her posts are very well thought through.
Mirasol is another I would like to add, she’s very informative and doesn’t mind setting people straight, while being as polite as possible. She also doesn’t mind criticizing Blizzard when she feels it’s justified, even though she’s an MVP and council member. (Not saying that others don’t, but I don’t see it as often.)
Pyri is another great poster.
Annastasi, even though I don’t always agree, I still respect her opinions. 
I miss Thallia and Rhielle as well!

The first one I made was level 1, but yesterday I deleted that one and made an Ztroll Nickaeladin on Thrall then logged her in for a second just to be on the safe side. I’m thinking it may take a little while for the forums to register her.

Within temptation is on tour but they’re performing with iron maiden and i’m conflicted if i go or not, i’d only be staying for WT and usually opening acts are super short

How long do their sets usually last when they open?
If you decide to go, I hope you have a ton of fun. I really want to see Starset and BMTH, but I may never get to, and that’s ok

Yikes! That would be way too short. I definitely see the conflict. Maybe they’ll have a lead concert sometime soon!
Was going to suggest looking for the Warped Tours, but it’s on hiatus since 2019
