Who are these Dungeons made for?

Lying about their experience to use as leverage is stranger.

you also missed the huge nerf to melee damage from the little adds in the last hallway and boss. And also the double healing absorb curse from the warlocks got taken away. idk what skill level you’re playing at but the changes made GB go from hardest dungeon in the pull to one of the 3 easiest. It and mists were the only 2 chests we got on 11 this week.

The issue isn’t really keys being overtuned, it’s the changes to rewards that have broken the system.

You now have to do portal level keys in order get myth track vault. Doing portal level keys was previously the end goal for a lot of players, and they needed the myth track gear to carry them to that goal. Now you just have that entire group of players hard stuck around 620 ilvl because they have no access to myth track gear and very little access to gilded crests.

okay bud, ignore the obvious things happening around you because 2 or 3 people you know have the natural brain capacity to engage in this content with no extra helpful brain chemistry boosters.

I don’t care how people live their lives. But I can read the room and speak the truth.
just like you can not like it and get upset about it

which like I said before, sounds like you’re taking very personally

Who is hard stuck at 620? Not as many as you think. It’s too early for that many people to have grinded enough crests and dungeons for drops. This is being hyperbolic at this point of the season, end of week 3.

The fact is that players who are stuck at +8 with 619 ilvl won’t magically progress to +9 with the extra 7ilvl to 626 because the dungeon scales higher than the gains from ilvl. If they are struggling at 619 it means they are not understanding mechanics. The same applies even more from +9 to +10 because of the added affix and the non-linear key scaling.

You are “reading the room” full of people who just come here to complain. The forums does not represent the larger wow community and is known to be a very tiny fraction that comes here. There were over 90 million keys run in DF and we didn’t see any positive M+ threads during that time. It doesn’t mean there isn’t any positivity, it show cases that people are here for negativity.

I’m not even remotely associated with the people you’re trying to describe. I’m above average at best, not even good enough to be associated by proxy.

In a roundabout way I was trying to ask you to be a decent human being and keep your comments about the things you aren’t enjoying, not resorting to needless attacks against other players whose only crime is being good at the game.

It’s clear that people are unhappy. I don’t think their reasoning is entirely sound, but that’s irrelevant. It’s Blizzard’s job to figure out how to serve all the groups. They have the numbers to see participation and are surely talking about things internally. Hopefully they can find a way to make everyone happy.

It’s a troll, I’ll not elaborate to much other than I can’t see his posts bc he’s already flagged, and then their pool of supporting friends possibly alternate accounts.

Basically anyone who isn’t timing 9s/completing 10s.

This player group would typically collect gear throughout the season until they overgeared the dungeons and could attempt portals. That path has been taken away, you need to do portal keys to even get myth track gear now, that is the issue.

And no, there’s nothing magical at play here. These players would also improve their play (at a slower rate) throughout the season. But with this progression path taken away, a lot of them have already given up because they can’t see the light at the end up the tunnel when putting in 20+ hours of dungeons each week is still pretty unlikely to get them even a single myth vault slot.

I get that theoretically, I was referring to currently not many people are 619 capped and won’t be for a while.

The vast majority of heroic only raiders.

So not many overall.

Not sure where you can justify that. By far the largest percentage of players who raid and do M+ fall into this category.

bro delves are so nerfed they can be done at tier 8 in 570 gear

Not sure how you can justify that the majority of the overall player base are both M+ players and heroic raiders.

I used to love running Elitism Helper back in the day. Players like that would eat the same mechanic 3 or 4x in a row and absolutely flip out over it setting off an alert each time it happened. Lol

I keep getting the urge to play WoW. I have, after all, been playing it nearly 20 years. Yet every time I log on I run into a brick wall of frustrations. The most annoying part, is that it is generally related to other people. Or, their lack of skill.

I admit, I can be a bit of an “elitest” at times. I would rather say I have expectations of people, when they sign up and join content. An unwritten signature stating “Yes, I know how to walk and talk at the same time”. Some would say both those statements are the same. Fair.

Trying to run dungeons, or any content for that matter, at a level in which people should know what to do, yet don’t, is a real issue. Logged on for the first time all week, formed up my Key, a +8 Grim, the first pull we had a death due to an AoE burst attack. Healer immediately rage quits and Alt F4s. I just log out after.

My account goes down in 4 days. I plan to let it rest in hibernation for some time. Maybe a season or two. Perhaps the whole expansion. I don’t know. I want to play, yet the game’s “difficulty” for the masses is too high. It ends up frustrating me more than entertaining me. I am too old for this stress from a game.

Shame that my friends have Real lives and can’t be at my beck and call whenever I am free to play. Maybe then I could have fun.

At least I got KSM, and 2k+ io. Portals aren’t on the menu this time. Shame.

Good luck to all you other dungeon delvers! May the RNG gods of group mates be on your side.

This is not something that can be solved because if the system allows people to fail upwards, they will. If the system doesn’t, it will suddenly be “too hard.”
