I noticed this too, pretty annoying.

They broke that. Apparently it was too easy to find people to group with.

Just right click your chat window tab, and you will see an option “Make Window Interactive”
Select that!

doesnt work.

ive reset chat defaults to.

edit

solved

disabled puggle.

i disabled all addons reloaded, didnt work, enabled, disabled puggle and now it works. seems odd

Hmm working fine for me, just tested. Maybe a complete restart?

works for me, but then again i dont use 60 addons to play the game for me

Shift-Click has always taken me 1-5 tries on any computer on any and every version of WoW since the actual 1.12 was out. Sometimes it just works, sometimes it just doesn’t work, but then you click again and like magic, it works!!!123

I don’t know why it’s like this. And I don’t mean doing it a bunch of times in succession. I mean just trying it once, one at a time.

They work fine for me. There’s a built in cooldown on searches.

Sorry to rez this thread but I found it because I was having the same issue but only on one of my characters. Started messing around in the chat settings and found what one needs to be selected. General > right click > settings > Other > make sure “System Messages” is enabled. fixed mine right away.

There’s also a hidden 10-15 second delay. You can’t /who or shift+click mutiple people in a row; you have to wait the cooldown.

thank you so much

In Soviet Russia who searches you.

Hold on. I didnt know we had communists on our server? And also an addon user? What is this? Its like nothing is sacred anymore… classic ruined.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Open interface, key bindings. De-select “Character-specific key bindings” up at the top (in my case; for you it might be select/unselect/etc) .

This Worked great! Thanks

I found out that the addon censusplus was blocking my ability to use it.

Awwwww. Another post from September 2019. Before the world ended. So refreshing.
