Who all is in the Maw?

Anybody have a list of who’s been cast into the Maw? NOT who you think SHOULD be there but who’s been officially confirm to be there.

Other than Arthas.

Boomp!

The souls from Teldrassil are there. There’s a quest for people who choose the night fae covenant to rescue some of them.

Why are they there? They’re innocent people.

Sylvanas hijacked the process - all souls now go to the Maw which is why there is a drought of anima (aka soul juice). It really doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.

Is that how she’ll “set us all free”? By sending us to a prison/maw…

I believe everyone who had died, starting at a certain point, has gone right to the Maw. No choice or anything, they’re all just getting funneled right to the Maw.

Arthas, Jailer, Sylvanas and everybody who died during BfA.

like that Panda healer we killed for no reason. Or that farmers family. Or Saurfang.

Hitler and Walt Disney to name a few

That’s just it, it doesn’t make sense. Then again, she could be playing 8th dimensional chess with a can of cheese whiz.

I don’t really expect much from the story at this point they’ve made it so convoluted. All I know is they need to be very careful when they try to pull off her redemption arc as that may kill the game for me.

Everyone who died in BFA and at an unknown point in Legion has gone to the Maw without going to the Arbiter to get judged.

We know the place broke during Legion and that Ysera and Ursoc were the some of the last ones to be judged normally by the Arbiter. So probably everyone who died from the Nighthold raid onwards to now has gone straight to the Maw.

There are some rare exceptions though. Like Bwonsamdi has tried to save his troll followers, Rastakhan was spared to the Other Side.

All Alliance scum. Especially those who play boring regular humans.

Wait… In legion?

Odds are, it busted after Sylvanas was denied in Stormheim.

That being said… I wonder where Deathwing wound up.

We will find out when the expansion drops.

Yep Blizz explained it back at Blizzcon during the reveal that at some point in Legion was when the system of death went haywire.

How and why it broke down is still a mystery though. We have no idea what the Jailer did or what happened to the Arbiter to cause this yet. Lots to still find out in the story.

This was prior to the Emerald Nightmare and Ursoc’s passing, currently it appears this wasn’t the trigger point (or the machine of death simply didn’t break instantly) as Ursoc still went to Ardenweald.

Alternatively it is the trigger point and Blizzard just made a whoopsie with their timeline during Legion.
