Did… did you play Cataclysm? Homie got dusted. He’s perma-dead.
Gross, so that’s the kind of person you are. Good to know.

The Accuser it’s the best, her story is really interesting for what she does in Revendreth now.
Her name was once Harriett the Crimson Shade. According to her sinstone Harriett murdered countless innocents and orchestrated the deaths of even more, all for personal profit. She was also apparently misled into murdering her own daughter, Camille. Despite all the other murders she committed, this act would be the one sin she would end up regretting well into her afterlife. It is unknown when she became the Harvester of Pride, or what happened to the previous one.
Devos, Theotar, Pelagos, and Daddy D
Out of curiosity… why?
He barely existed as far as we knew, just chilling in the dirt slowly going crazy listening to Old God ASMR and then just went bonkers on the whole planet like he was on bath salts. And then we gave him a mani-pedi until he died.
Rhonin used a Scale of Deathwing to communicate with him, and I dodn’t remeber anywhere in the book to say it got destroyed hence, there is a piece of Deathwing still in existance! So his resurection isn’t impossible! Suck it wowpedia!
What kind of person are you referring to? I don’t like that they changed the lore behind my favorite character, and changed it for bad reasons.
If they want a trans character they should have made one from scratch. I would have had no problem with that.
Because the slow corruption while in isolation is one of the better attempts at insanity this game has had. Plus I love the cthulhu mythos and his appearance. Playing him in HoTs didn’t hurt either.
What lore? It’s not like Chromie had a huge backstory. She’s a quirky little bronze dragon - she is still a quirky little bronze dragon. Nothing was changed, except for a single identifier.
If you hate that identifier, that says more about you. Hence the “gross”.
I got a giggle out of the Reveneth guy who tells me I smell spicey so he thinks I’d make a very good tea.
I like the little pixie Moonberry. She is cute.
Also like the vampire dude whose clothes and umbrella we get back and all those little drugger dudes.
The little owls in Bastion are cute.
Also fond of the abomination guys in the stitchyard, can’t remember any of their names though.
No one else really springs to mind.
It’s actually more surprising that isn’t more common among dragons. Choosing your humanoid avatar seems like it’d be something determined entirely by your role while in that form, with maybe a touch of personal preference.
I’d be surprised if dragons had any attraction to the humanoid races, so that’s out the window, meaning they shouldn’t care if their own avatar is male or female other than in regards to how it affects their own position while using it.
As an observation.
People have a hard time letting go of fantastic characters especially when we continue to deal with nonsense like Sylvanas. That said, his end was glorious. Breaking free of his shackles and cutting down his oppressor with his final act with full conviction, condemning the coward Thrall with his final breaths… so good. Better than the A plot by far.
Oh ya, I guess the Primus was also pretty cool. Made me have some pride in being in the Necrolord Covenant.
Imagine if WoW had a trans character and changed it to be cis instead because of “reasons.” Would you still feel the same way?
And of course there is lore on Chromie. Not much but she played her part in several parts of WoW as well as Hots.
And you read something that was not said into it. I clearly stated that I couldn’t care less about a trans being included. I don’t like massive lore changes for reasons outside of what makes sense for the character.
I disliked it with Illidan even though it made sense to tell the story from his side. I dislike it when they changed Arthas’s reasons for falling. And so many other characters.
You can call it gross but I like continuity.
I was replaying that a few days ago on my hunter, man the story is so sweet and excellently paced. The fact that you explore almost the entire map, and that there are a bunch of things for extra bonuses. Which all shows in your hub.
Now on topic.
And i think thats all i remember right now, sad thing, because from suramar i can make you a list. Ooo my great Valtrois
Hey, for all we know it is. We didn’t know about Chromie until that fairy tales book.
If a character was explicitly stated to be trans and they changed it? Yeah, that’d be a problem. Show me where Chromie was explicitly stated to be cis, rather than you just assuming that she was the “default”.
Actually don’t bother, because I know you’ll just have more rationalizations and that isn’t the point of this thread. At the end of the day, nothing changed about the character but you stopped liking her because she’s trans and like I said, that tells me all I need to know.
Buttons and Moriaz are the only good characters to come out of this expansion. Everyone else was trash. Mograine, Vashj, KT, Kel’Thuzad, Draka, Uther, carried the entire story as to be expected. Even Remornia was a better character than some.
Edit: The skeleton that walks around the covenant sanctum in Maldraxxas that plays the lute is also pretty cool. You can tell he’s got spirit.
I couldn’t state it more clearly.
And once again you read what you want into what I say. I’m not sure continuing this conversation would be fruitful. Through experience I’ve learned that those who are evangelical about the “message” will never accept anything I say. You seem to be one of those who is looking for the worst in people so that you can feel better about yourself.
Man I miss the days when people didn’t ask about who you slept with and the LGBT community was just happy to be left alone… I don’t know when but at some point we regressed and became the very thing we hated.
Whatever helps you sleep at night.
Ah yes the good old days of “don’t ask, don’t tell”. Shame about all those legal rights, huh? Really put a damper on things.
theotar is a hoot.
Prince Renathal. I get the impression he has a most wry sense of humor. And he likes tea.
Once I hit Enlightened-Exalted, I’ll effectively be done with Zereth Mortis, and (for the first time) I may switch Covenants, giving the Venthyr a try.
I also like Revendreth: which has proven to be my second favorite zone to quest in.
Pelagos, Emeni, Ve’nari, Marileth, Quadrin and Renethal and Theotar oh and Alioth…
