It is entirely unacceptable for me to have to wait in a 4-5 hour queue to play a game that I pay a monthly fee for. This problem is entirely of Blizzard’s own making and they are withholding something that would provide immediate relief (Layers) without any explanation to the player-base. Unless they fix their mistake, I won’t be renewing my subscription.
It’s really becoming so sad. 6 hour queue? Still the same people in Stormwind? The queue is full of fake accounts - bots, multiboxers looking for commodities, etc, it’s artificially inflated interest… and when we start quitting, it’s all that will remain.
start banning all the players that sit in iron forge for hours doing nothing but taking up queue times.
Ironforge had like 33 people when I left for ZG at 7PM. All people in normal guilds, doing nothing but avoiding having their World Buffs dispelled.
If everyone transfered off Whitemane, It would still be marked as a High server because of all the bots running around. Literally 15-20% of online people are bots.
it’s really quite insane, the botting/auto-scripting. What happened when Black Lotus plummeted today and the scripts picked up Lotus 200-300G from the AH was wild, people were drinking the gold up.
Move to a lower pop server and you won’t have to deal with queues anymore.
i waited 4 hours to log in, found out my comp was lagging badly so i restarted it turned out CPU overheating lmfao. ended up just calling it quits shut comp off, took shower come back knowing id be in a que. it’s at i think 5-6 hours now.
I’m not even on a server that has queues. They should permanently put 1-2 layers on the high pop servers. If people don’t like layers that should be the determining factor to buy a server transfer. It should not be a queue that determines if people need to buy a transfer or not
You know, I find this to be the common answer to every single one of these threads and yet, people still make posts about how they can’t play.
Such a weird situation they’re in ![]()
You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink.
Saying the same thing on every thread doesn’t make you more right… It’s one thing to play on a high pop server. It’s another to sit in que to play, wanting to play a game with a large number of people shouldn’t be punished by having to wait when you PAY for the service. Layering fixes this problem, you can play with a huge population and avoid ques, WIN WIN.
If only Blizzard had warned people about the long queues on Whitemane before Classic launched, and then offered multiple chances to take free server transfers to smaller servers.
We wouldn’t be as upset if they did anything to try and solve the problem. Increased server capacity, left layering on until it couldn’t be on anymore, banned the bots that are on 24/7…
There are a lot of things Blizzard could have done to prevent this problem too. We shouldn’t have to abandon our server just to play the game when the issue is completely fixable by Blizzard. If the queue was only an hour, maybe two during prime time it’d be less ridiculous - but it’s six hours.
You need to learn to take responsibility for your own poor choices.
Before the game launched Blizzard told you to expect massive queues on Whitemane. You chose to ignore that.
Every time Blizzard has offered free server transfers for players to escape overpopulated servers, you chose to stay.
How many times does Blizzard have to offer you a way to not have queues before you finally take one?
Cool, when is blizzard going to take responsibility for the 500+ bots flooding sub-30 zones at any given time and clogging server populations further? The dozens of fishbots off the coast of theramore, menethil, and feralas?
Or do you think only players are somehow responsible here, and Blizzard has no responsibility to ensure the health of their own game?
