There’s an aggressive amount of Taiwan players on Whitemane, most of which are in the guild smORC that are followers of popular streamers. While normally I’m fine with playing with people from everywhere around the world, they have ridiculously high ping and for the most part are unable to communicate with other players due to the language barrier. Communication is one of the essential parts of an MMO community.
Does Taiwan, or Asia not have their own servers? If they don’t then this is a null point and it’s perfectly fine with me that they are here, it’s just so confusing to me why they would flock to a PST PvP server? We’re already filled the the brim with people within a reasonable distance to the location of this server, I hate the idea of waiting in queue longer when they have much more convenient servers near them.
Would something like ping priority getting through the queue be possible? That way it incentivizes them to play on servers within their region?
