Haven’t played mankrik but isnt the real difference between pvp and pve. Just roll a level 1 on both and check it out.
All my toons are on Makrik. I would not roll here if you live in central US.
I get 6 to 10 second lag spikes. ALL THEE TIME!!!
Did traceroutes and the trace shows the feed going through London UK.
Not joking. I have an excellent computer and fiberoptic high speed.
No packet loss until it goes to Europe.
Otherwise a cool server.

Mankrik is the best server, no lag, huge population, a lot of very nice people, stocked auction house, groups forming around the clock, lots of guilds to choose from that are actively recruiting from hard mode to casual young and even adult guilds.

I did everything support told me to do on the lag. Do you live in the midwest?
I live on the East Coast, it’s an East Coast server, The majority of my guild is in the Midwest and none of them have lag issues.
It’s either your internet provider or you have a bad cable on your street or something
You should have your cable provider come out and test.
Timezone of a server has nothing to do with location of data centers where Blizzard is hosted. Blame your ISP.
Whitemane has more players and better guilds but honestly why would you not just go Faerlina.
I live in Chicago and have never had that problem on Mankrik.
But to answer the question, the biggest difference is, do you want PvP or don’t you. On Whitemane, there’s still a (small) chance you can run into wPvP. But on the other hand, PvP servers tend to have a more skilled player base on average.
About that. Hmm, take it with a grain of salt. It used to be good. But now, 9:30 will be last call. Yes there are people forming later but they have to wait a lot longer than 20 -40 minutes to get all the peeps.

Its not lying, obviosly a healer/tank might get in easily but dps classes is a different story. Sunday nights are not great. Saturday nights are usually only 25s and they dry up by 10:15 PM. As someone who has a few toons that I pug with and am up till 2AM server time. I have noticed a steady decline in the number and the type. Yes there are more hm modes now. But that also means more specific classes in demand.
Tuesdays, thursdays and saturdays are usually more runs than the rest. Wednesday and friday seems to be slower and sunday is the slowest. Mondays are usually quick runs.
VoA again more on tuesday , lesser as the week progress.
Naxx is always there but then its naxx.

Yes you are, it’s an East Coast server it’s not a 24-hour around the clock server there aren’t many servers if any at all that are max population at 2:00 a.m. in the morning like you’re expecting them to be…
Most pugs are 25 men but there are many many 10 men pugs being formed in looking for group.
Also there are many many guilds that don’t have to pug You just got to join one…
I’ve been playing wow on and off since the start and of all of the servers I’ve been in this one is by far head and shoulders better than any server I’ve experienced…
Every part of it is healthy.
The nicest part of it it’s not full of nasty little children spamming anal around the clock.
That has been a cancer of all servers for so long.

the truth is this. the servers have very different people. mankrik is very calm. faerlina is chaos and the males on the server have a whole different attitude. its this different more to urself more make jokes attitude

I was responding to this quote of yours. For someone who is not playing that often you seem ready to name call for no reason.
Most servers have a peak hour login. Thats when most of the LFG is active. I am giving perspective of a player who plays late night . Most of us are moms and dads and may not be able to play at peak hours. Clarifying what you stated .
Also on mankirk there is only horde population no alliance. Yes there are alliance guilds but its 80-20 spread.

As a dad who usually logs in around 10pm server time on Mankrik, my experience is closer to yours. I’ve been considering transferring to Whitemane because of it.
The website gets its numbers from logs - meaning directly from the people who are playing on those servers. Its more accurate than anything else we have… Whitemane seems to have 2k-ish more horde players than Mankrik, though both servers both have over 15k players and they are horde only.
