It was like pulling teeth to get to 80% attunement for Kara (as tank) before blizz yanked the attunement requirement anyway, but I was still was looking forward to dungeon spamming 5-man & heroics cuz i remember them being fun. I use Puggle/LFG Bulletin, I never see more than a couple people LF, and incredibly slow going forming my own groups.
Did I just miss “the rush” of players clearing normal and heroics? Or did we have a massive population drop and aren’t actually full?
I mean I played vanilla classic extensively, never once had a problem finding groups for MC attune in BRD, forming UBRS groups, etc. regardless of phase. My 5th Lv.60 was in Phase 6, and was fully attuned, pre-raid bis, etc. like it was phase 1.
Classic’s are just another end game focused retail expansion, I worry about not keeping up because I haven’t raided yet. Getting harder and harder to find heroic groups.
It slowed down in July considerably, as would be expected, but picked up some right before t5 released. Now there are virtually no heroics being run and the only dungeons I regularly see are normal ramps/bf, sp, and occasionally rep runs on shattered and slabs.
It does amaze me that the first 3 (ramps/bf/sp) still do get run, especially when you see how many sp carries are advertised in trade chat. Where do these level 61-63 characters all go? You’d think they’d run some higher level dungeons eventually.
When will the next alt rush occur? Probably small surges before t6 and sw are released, and a larger one in the months before wotlk.
Oh, yeah, I forgot one other thing. When the new badge gear goes live, kara and heroics will come alive again. I believe that is between t6 and sw. ZA patch.
Yup there is nothing wrong with it, but it takes a while finding people nowadays. If you can wait then you will get to do them regardless. Just not as fast as 2 months ago!
