Are way too RNG and stupidly uncommon. After running dailies and farming this event on like 12 toons, I finally got 1x white weapon. Why the hell can’t we buy them in the vendor with weekly token? Seems like unnecessary block to keep people grinding.

I would dig a more deterministic way to procure these things. Like you say, slap ‘em on the vendor. Have ‘em drop as guaranteed WQ rewards. Stuff like that.
I do enjoy this grind though, and I’ve been fortunate to get 2 white arathi Crusader skins (2h sword, 1H cleric mace), but still hunting for that sweet, sweet floppy flail
Oh, I’ll also add that there are new rares downing adjacent some of the Sureki daily “kill ‘em all” quests in Hallowfall and in Ahj’kahet. I’ve gotten a mog from them too. I was told to try rare scanner. So far, TWW handy notes doesn’t have them, though to be true, I haven’t looked to see if there’s a handy notes addon for this event.

I’ve killed about a dozen rares, done the dailies and weekly quests on 12 toons and literally have 1x white mace to show for it. They just aren’t dropping and it’s the dumbest crap ever. No reason they have the purp weps for sale and the white armors. It’s a nuisance and nothing more.

just noticed there was an update to TWW Handynotes on curse forge…gunna check it out in game shortly! Maybe it has the spawn points. And, while obviously still RNG and not ideal, havin’ 'em marked may help.
Update: I…am not seeing anything specific to Nightfall event, but that doesn’t mean much because I’m not so smart with the addons…

Meh. The black trim makes it near impossible to compliment other pieces. The white set is just tasteless people bait so people think their mog looks cool.

I wouldn’t have a problem with most of the white mogs if the trim was a bit lighter, maybe metallic.
White/Black is a hideous combo to work with.
