Hello Folks,
Is there a lore explanation to white scale dragons we get from the Tyr questline?
I enjoy the aesthetics of it, but don’t feel comfortable not knowing what I should associate it with.

I don’t think there is, no.
White scale dragons have existed since Wrath added the Albino Drake mount, but the only thing we have about them is that mount’s description, which isn’t much:
Even the Draconic Native Association tests proved inconclusive in determining if the albino drake is related to a known dragonflight.
In Wrath beta the white dragons were what proto-drakes looked like before they got the unique dinosaur-ish model we know now.
They are just white scale dragons?
They are not associated with anything. Since Tyr is a morally good figure who uses the Light maybe it’s a light dragon but that would be a stretch. If you want to go spiritual white dragons are a symbol of death and rebirth.
It’s just a dragon skin color. There’s no deeper meaning outside of the meaning you give it.
I think they’re just dragons with the dragon equivalent of albinism.
I got the vibe they might of been meant to have a deeper meaning but at some point some content got axed when they lost some of their staff due to the mandatory return to office orders earlier this year. I am pretty sure Tyr was once meant to have a bigger role as well.
As it sits, its just a neat but canonically meaningless reward.
funny dragon hehe
Isnt the color not always indicating the flight anyway?
what happens if a red dragon and a blue dragon have a baby?
