Does anyone know how to complete this? First step is to take the Dalaran portal to Wyrmrest. Since the portal is gone, I’m not getting an update. I tried just going to Wyrmrest, but that didn’t work either.
Update. The step disappeared once I got to Scholazar Basin. Hopefully I can complete it.
The steps involving taking a portal are usually optional. As long as the rest of the still showing for the quest you should be fine, if not you can drop the quest and start again.
I had no trouble seeing the portal on my 110 alt. It is straight back in the room under the new (Legion) Dalaran, the one you go through the portal in the middle of Dalaran to access.
All those portals were removed.
I literally went there on my 110 alt and the Wyrmrest portal was there.
I just checked again and I am able to take the portal to Wyrmrest in the room under Dalaran.
Most of the portals are gone, but that one and the one to Karazhan are there.
Edit: Checked on another alt and only the Wyrmrest portal is there; all my alts that are on the quest have the portal. Only one has the Karazhan portal available.
I didn’t see any portals at all.
Are you looking on a character that has the quest in their log still?
I didn’t see the portal on any character that didn’t have the “Whispers of a Frightened World” quest.
Yes, I had had the quest for a long time on this character. When I was in Dalaran, I saw the question mark, but when I went to the portal room, nothing was there.
Hmm, maybe it’s because that character is 120?
All the alts I have that are on that quest are 110 and they can all see that portal.
Or maybe one of us is bugged?
