I mean, you can move while doing sck. There is a “lore precedent” for moving while twirling.

Fists of Fury was ridiculous back then. You’d stop, stun everyone in the cone and buzzsaw through half their team.

As for the OP it’s nbd. Just don’t WDP during butt clenching boss mechanics and you should be good. Honestly, I’d complain more about FoF’s pitiful damage and how we have to fish for DoCJ procs for AoE.
There is a hidden upside to the root. If you pop Whirling Dragon Punch right as you get knocked back, you’ll stop moving.
