Whirling dragon punch and slicing winds either needs a 1s iframe or have left, right movement allowed

These 2nabolities are akin to old flanking strike, harpoon, and some of the mandatory dh movement buff skills

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve died using these skills because in animation locked and suddenly a big damage frontal or ground ae materializes out of nowhere and 1.shots you.

If only PVE had predictable timings for things, and it wasn’t just a chaos random, oh wait that’s PvP, because PVE is infact predictable.

Slicing winds does the same damage whether you charge it up or tap it the only thing charging it up does is just increase your overall distance but if you’re in a group of enemies just tap the thing (don’t use it for its movement)

Whirling is fine as is, minus it shouldn’t have conditions (meaning fof and rsk shouldn’t need to be on cd) and the knockup for it should just be baseline, would make interesting for dungeons as a utility

I’ve been asking for WDP to allow movement for literal years (along with Chi Burst being instant cast) and nothing’s changed so far. Keep asking, but prepare to be patient, lol.

Slicing winds already allows full, but slow movement, with the ability to fire it early to move immediately for less distance. You can roll + lighter than air to tech out of dragon punch.

Nothing, and I mean nothing, is more annoying than Chi Burst having a cast time that also gets affected by melee hits as a Brewmaster.

If any ability in our kit needs to allow movement it’s CJL.

Just turn WDP into our old hurricane strikes ability from wod. Very simple solution. WDP replaced it and is worse to use in every single way, shares the same sounds and animations.

I like wdp, I’d like it more if it didn’t have a cast condition.
