I mean all of the sets are pure gold, or in this case felsteel. the season one set is bad*ss and a great way to get a feel for the dragonflight aesthetic. the season two set is epic and intimidating and looks like something you’d see in an old wotlk era machinima music video as the top dog or something like that. speaking of wotlk the season three set looks like what you would see on an elite scourge NPC that you fight in a quest chain before fighting in a dungeon then finally killing in a raid. so warlocks of the world (of Warcraft) let us celebrate! here’s to a good expansion and here’s to another good one coming up!

I don’t know, I wasn’t overly impressed with the warlock tier set appearances this expansion. Normally warlock sets are among my favorite, but this time around they felt too “generic cultist” to me. Like the S1 tier set didn’t seem too different from the rare quality set you’d get from elemental overflow.
I admit that I do prefer the warlock sets that are more unique though. Tier 6 was cool with the wings that would pop out, tier 8 deathbringer was nice looking, tier 13 with the tentacles, tier 14 with the sha hat that moved, etc.
I can see why people might not like them, but at least they felt uniquely warlock to me. The sets we’ve had this expansion felt like they could be generic armor for several classes.

I wasn’t a huge fan of season 2.
It felt a bit top heavy, and other sets have done the “skull helm” thematic better.
Season 1 and 3 were great though and Warlock probably did have the best across the board. I think Hunter Season 1 and 2 was great and perhaps is the overall winner for me personally.
